I love this thread so much I thought I’d contribute 🙂

First One: (almost thought it was THE ONE, but then I looked at another store and looking back I can’t believe I thought this was the one)

I had two runners-up, more traditional tulle-y ball gowns:

I Loved the detail on this one:

And THE ONE – I absolutely love it – would never trade it for anything 😀

Sorry for all the pictures, thanks for letting me share 🙂

Dress 1 – Exactly what I thought I wanted, but suddenly I looked super short and it just felt like WAY too much dress.

Runner Up – I loved the uniqueness and wanted a Disney dress so badly. I even bought it! THen I was like omg, this dress does nothing for my figure what am I thinking??

MY dress – I had so many doubts and this one caught my eye while bridesmaid dress shopping. Bought the sample, sold the runner up, and never looked back. I love it so much!

@soontobebyrdy: wow that detail in your runner-up dress is gorgeous.  But YOUR dress is magnificent and so royal!

The first dress I tried on actually ended up being THE dress, so I’ll post my two runners-up, and then the winner! Smile

First runner-up: Jim Hjelm 8002. Gorgeous from the back, but just didn’t flatter me from the front.

Second runner-up: Melissa Sweet “Dora.” This was my dream dress for so long and I WANTED it to be “the one,” but in the end, I realized it just wasn’t me. A beautiful gown, but just a little too sweet for me.

And finally, THE dress! Exactly what I was hunting for: elegant, a little sexy and floaty organza loveliness.

I love this thread! My first dress post- here it goes!

I’m wearing the veil my Future Mother-In-Law wore at her wedding. Since it’s a vintage and unique veil, the goal was to find a dress that goes perfectly with the veil!

The first dress I tried on

The runner up

I picked the first dress I tried on! I can’t wait to wear it in November!

First dress was discontinued years ago but it was a DB dress, very slim fitted and lace with a shoe string bow under the bust. I returned 4 dresses and it was a tough one between these

Runner up: would have made in into a sweetheart neck. not fitted enough. and ordered it in white

THE ONE! I dont have to change a thing!
