I don’t remember the first, but here was the second and runner-up (Charlotte Balbier Morgan):

I actually bought it and later had dress regret…I realized the tulle was so not me!

And my dress (Romona Keveza):

First one I tried on: J. Crew Chiffon Sophia

Runner-up/serious contender: J. Crew Silk Taffeta Sabine

THE Dress: J. Crew Silk Tricotine Gracie

It was the perfect choice for me! I loved it dearly!

Ok I had to play!  The first dress was given to me by a friend who ended up not wearing it; unfortunately it was several sizes too big and overpowered me.  The second dress was a VERY close runner-up, but in the end I still love the one I chose!

FIRST DRESS – Too big/overpowering

RUNNER-UP – Almost bought this one!

“THE” DRESS – LOVED IT!!!

First dress: What I thought I wanted. I liked it but need something dramatic for my church. And I would have needed to spend a lot in Alterations to get it to flare out in the right place since I am so short.

Runner Up: also the first dress

WINNER: dramatic enough for my chuch and SPARKLE

First dress (unknown designer):

Runner up (Essense of Australia D1170, which was someone else’s runner up as well, sometimes I wish I had gotten this one):

The one I bought (San Patrick Capricho):

I’ll play.  I set out looking for something simple, my only qualification was trumpet silhouette with little to no train.  I ended up a bit removed from that idea.. 🙂

Runner up:

Winner: (fisrt pic is at the first fitting, only one I have with the train other than when I bought it, 2nd two pics at the 2nd fitting, back view is with the bustle pinned up)

OK, Best Thread Ever!  I love seeing all the gowns!!

My first dress, Pronovias Gaudí:

Before my final appointment this Essence of Australia was my top contender:

Then last week I tried this Pronovias on for a 2 way tie:

Then this one blew them both out of the water:

Sorry for the big pictures
