FH and I were off work this week and we got a chance to spend time together and get things done. Now I am sooooo dreading going back to work tomorrow, especially since I know I have a mountain of paperwork waiting on me and an extremely painful meeting Tuesday night. I am going to go in early tomorrow to tackle the paperwork, but having trouble focusing on enjoying today. Anyone else have this problem? Any suggestions?

I hate sundays for that reason! I always feel the Monday looming.

I know what you’re going through! I’ve been on summer vacation and we start back on Wednesday. Normally, I’m ready to go back, but not this time! I will be excited to meet my new group of kids. I am just going to miss the sleeping in, having a lot of flexibility with my schedule…all those good things!
Something that I’m doing to help me get used to going back is I have a little treat to look forward to for those first few days. It’s nothing major. I’m going to get a snow cone on Wednesday, Thursday will be a long day because it’s Meet the Teacher night, so I will probably get my favorite carry-out for dinner. Friday, I’m planning on renting a movie and getting some ice cream. That seems to help ease the transition.

Ahh I need a vacation. We had a long weekend last week and I keep dreading back to work time.
