Yeah it isn’t that uncommon!  Some people try to work on a new project to keep themselves distracted.

I know where you are coming from…but I am soo glad its finally over, though the night did go by too fast.  I don’t miss the fights and the sleepless nights by any means :).

We did of course come back from our honeymoon and go right into remodeling our kitchen, so we are still busy as ever.  But finally going over our proofs and picking our faves for the album, so I can kind of re-live the wedding.

I went through the same thing! You blink and it is over! Now we are in the process of buying our first home, so we have that to look forward to.

@kellyj23:  omg,  yes.  i was hoping that i wasn’t the only one who wants to do it all over again.  i had such a wonderful day and enjoyed every minute of the planning process.  the day goes by so fast.  i kind of miss all of the excitement.

we are in the middle of designing and building a new house so that will take up my time now.

Aw! I haven’t hit that yet, I’m just glad to sleep… but my husband (squee!) did turn to me while we were eating dinner at the wedding and said how he wished it was feasible to do something like a wedding more than once. In the sense that.. it was just so cool to have all of our family and friends, etc, there in one place, and the party was just SO nice.

I fear this will happen to me. I’m surviving the post-college blues by planning the wedding. After the wedding, I fear it’ll all come crashing down!

I have been feeling really down lately and I am startng to think that its because I feel sad that the wedding is over and done with. I too wish I could rewind and go back to that day.  It was magical! Cry

I fell pretty hard once after we got back from our honeymoon.  All of a sudden…it was all over.  It was very hard to pick myself up after that. But slowly I find myself getting interested in other projects…unpacking all the gifts from the wedding and showers and just getting the house settled.  My husband and I didn’t live together before the wedding, so there’s a lot of excitment and newness to that alone.  But it really is kind of sad when it’s all over…mostly because there’s very few occassions where you have all of your loved ones in one room, toasting you.  🙂  I guess it’s a good excuse to plan a big 1 year (or 5 year) anniversary party!!
