has anyone experienced this? my friend was so upset her wedding was over the following day that she cried (lol) she didnt know what to do with herself.
iv heard this is quite common? i personally was quite relieved for the day to be here and then reminise with pics and videos and people that were there – no more shelling out money, worrying about weather, etc etc!!!!!
but i can also see why someone would be a bit down after their wedding – such a big build up and so time consuming and life consuming for the duration of planning, for it to all be over in a day.
has anyone experienced this??

Yep, when we were on the plane for the honeymoon the next day, I got incredibly depressed that it was all over, after all that planning and obsessing. I spent so much time and energy thinking about it that it was a little shocking not having something immediately needing my attention.

No, but probably because my best friend is getting married in a month and I am her Maid/Matron of Honor so I am still wedding planning mode LOL. I am so excited for her and I hope her wedding is as much fun as ours was (she has big shoes to fill, some people even told her that at our wedding LOL).

yes, it went by so fast that i feel like i wasn’t even at my own wedding. it’s all a big blur. i always think of monica on friends, haha. the day after her wedding she was so depressed and was like, “i’ll never be a bride again. now i’m just someone’s wife.” i wasn’t that bad, but i do miss having something to look forward to and all the excitement, but i’m also relieved to not have to worry about saving and rsvp’s and bridesmaid drama.
