Sleeves were the number one requirement for my dress. I refused to deal with constantly pulling up a strapless dress, so I was on a mad search for dresses with sleeves. Here’s some I found during my search.

Catherine Deane – Lia

Catherine Deane – Lita

Elizabeth Dye – Dusk

Elizabeth Dye – Honeychurch

Elizabeth Dye – Oysters & Pearls

Rowanjoy – Lucille

Claire Pettibone – Sparrow

Vintage Wedding Dress Company

Temperley London – Amoret

Thread – Mabel

J Crew – Mirabelle I actually ordered this dress but ended up returning it. It was very pretty and flowy, but the underarms looked like they were scooped out of the dress and it felt weird

Saja – LD6001 this was a serious contender for a while

Ouma – Savanna until I came across this. I was on the fence about this dress until I accidentally stumbled upon a version of this dress with sleeves and fell in love with it πŸ™‚

Allure 8764. I might be making them more short bc I always did want strapless  but love my dress!!!! Maybe make the back open and a deep v like the slip under but def keep some type of straps/sleeve on this. Never thought I’d have sleeves ever!

Like this instead of the keyhole I currently have. Perfect for my winter wedding

The Claire dress at Ruche is really pretty but it’s vintage-y:

i LOVE this dress, but it’s Monique Lhuillier, so it’s probably pushing 8grand with the amount of fabric πŸ™

My dress is strapless, but I am adding tulle sleeves (like Zara Phillips’ wedding dress straps).

There was that girl, I think her name was Kate Middleton…she had sleeves πŸ™‚

Actually, you’re kind of lucky to be shopping post-Duchess because I’ve noticed that there are more (although not a lot) dresses with sleeves of some kind since her. Here’s just what I discovered on J.Crew:

The other thing that I really wish was around when I got married is http://www.bhldn.com has a section just for bridal separates, so if you can’t find a gown, maybe look into purchasing a beautiful bridal skirt and you can find a top with sleeves to wear with it. If you’re not set on a gown with sleeves, bhldn also has a great selection of pretty boleros.

And last but not least, there is of course the custom route or Etsy.
