So, as I’m sure many of you have experienced, I now feel the urge to chop all my hair off. I got my vintage hairstyle I wanted after just over 2 years of growing my hair out after a pixie…
I got my hair colored recently. A darker chocolate color, but it’s still just not enough to satisfy that “itch”.
Here’s the pixie that I had a few years ago:
How many of you went for the big chop? Will you share before and after photos? Do you regret the big chop?

I love your wedding hair! And before I scrolled down I thought you had the bone structure for a cute pixie cut and then I scrolled down and said yep! I think your hair looks great both ways 🙂 My hair is long and right past my bra strap right now but I am tempted to cut it already! My wedding isnt until next July so if I keep it long until then I’m sure I’ll be doing a chop of some sort afterwards. Following for the pics!

Omg I love that pixie on you! It’s perfection. It really highlights your gorgeous face and amazing bone structure. I vote for chopping it off! 🙂

Pixie all the way! I would go even shorter though.
I had been growing my hair out for about 4 years, and it just got waaay too much. I chopped it into a bob just above my shoulders and now want to go even shorter! There’s a reason I’ve had shortish hair most of my life haha

Same boat! I lovvvve chopping my hair and I got a pixie last year. Im planning on growing it out for the wedding in 2 years but seriously cant wait to chop it again. BEST feeling!

Thank you guys for your answers! I’m leaning towards pixie too. My long hair is just so annoying. Tangles, gets messed up so easily. I also felt more feminine with it, even. I got noticed more (definitely by other women and gay men complimenting it).

Do it! Pixies are fun, and you should try it at least once. Luckily, it’s pretty easy to grow it back to a really short bob if it’s not for you.

I vote pixie cut! You look lovely both ways, but not many women can pull off the pixie as well as you 🙂

I vote for the pixie!! You look amazing either way, but I hear you on long hair being a pain. And a good drastic haircut is always so much fun.

I did the big chop about two weeks after we got back from our honeymoon and it was the best decision ever! I had grown my hair out for over a year to have enought to do a full up do. I don’t regret it one bit, it was so refreshing! The pixie looks great on you, I vote do it as well!

Ok so full disclosure, I didn’t go as short as a pixie, but for my 30th birthday I got an angled chin bob that was razored at the back so it felt very short considering I had long hair my whole life. While having long hair was a bit of a pain I hated my bob in that I have very fine hair so I needed to style it everyday for it to look nice and I couldn’t pull it back into a ponytail if I needed to so I felt like it was in my face all the time which drove me nuts. I’m glad I took the plunge at the time but I wouldn’t do it again.
Your hair is lovely both ways!

You look great in a pixie cut!! I chopped my hair off less than a week after the wedding – it felt wonderful!!!

The pixie looks great on you so if you’re feeling the itch, go for it (although I also love your longer length)! I hate my short hair – I chopped it off 2 days after my wedding because I wanted to donate it. I asked for 8″ off, but she ended up taking more than a foot off (I measured it once I got back home). I’m praying it’ll grow out quickly!
