Jayceedee:  I think a lot of women experience “post wedding blues,” especially if you’ve had the day built up in your head for a long time.  Hopefully, you’ll be able to get past this and just start enjoying your marriage.  I personally never got to feel this way because my house flooded 2 days after my wedding, so I was sad for a whole different reason lol.

Time to get pregnant and start planning your vow renewal!

Kidding. It’s probably like being sad after Christmas is over. It’ll pass.

Human nature. Feel what you’re feeling, but then try to remind yourself that your wedding was a really great, fun wedding (not all of them are) and focus on the positive. The show must go on!

I was definitely sad afterwards. But then I got excited again waiting for our pro pics. Now that we have those, I’m getting sad again… I like to have things to look forward to. You’ll be ok (and I’m sure I will too) when the next exciting thing comes up.

I actually thought I was going to be sad when the wedding was over, but I never was. Are you going on a honeymoon? I watched the video and look at the pictures all the time, and I wouldn’t be able to do that if it wasn’t over! You get to enjoy being married, not have to worry about wedding planning (although I thought it was a blast), and start thinking about your future plans. For me too, I needed to focus on my career for a while. Honestly, the only thing I was really sad about was never getting to wear my wedding dress again! I loved it!
