Some people don’t give gifts, even monetary gifts, right away.  Tradition holds that guest have up to a year after the wedding to give a gift (although I think the etiquette of that is hotly debated), so it’s very possible you’ll get gifts later from thos people who didn’t give one at the wedding.

Sorry but wow you sound really entitled to me. Gifts are just that gifts and you should be really grateful that these people came and helped you celebrate your wedding and not be so worried about the amount they put or didn’t put in their cards.

@VegasSukie:  Well I thought so! The post was complaining about the amounts some guests gave and judging their spending and savings (as in they just paid for a cruise or a car). I hate when people Dirty Delete.

I really don’t like it when people edit their posts just because people aren’t agreeing with them. At least be who you are and own it.
