...are matchy matchy! same band, different size

...are SUBTLY different. same metal, same style; you'd only notice the differences up close

    ...mine's blinged out! his isn't

...his is blinged out, mine isn't

...COMPLETELY different! they don't even look like a set but hey, we're still married!!

...I'm using my e-ring as the band

I was wondering if they are supposed to match or not, mine are both white gold but my Fiance really likes this one gold david yurman band

Ours are totally different. Originally I wanted a matching set but in the end we had different tastes. I have ahalf eternity diamond & white gold ring and his is black and silver tungsten

I wanted a blinged out diamond band, but Fiance just wanted a plain band. So, no, ours are not matchy matchy! 😛

matchy matchy 🙂   We both wanted to match but I HATED the rings he liked and he didn’t like the rings I liked. Finally, we compromised by choosing ultra simple rings so neither of us could go wrong…

Our rings match because they’re both yellow gold Claddagh rings, but his ring is much bigger than mine and my ring is blinged out whereas his is plain.  I also have a matching wedding band that fits underneath my Claddagh ring but he doesn’t want a band.  Honestly, I love the fact that our rings match and so does he now, but it didn’t mean very much to him at first and he originally didn’t really like the Claddagh design.  In fact, he was supposed to have a tungsten wedding band, but to make a very long story short, he couldn’t wear that ring and we didn’t have enough time left before the wedding to get him a replacement tungsten band, so I quickly bought him this matching yellow gold Claddagh ring and surprised him with it.  The intention was only for him to wear it for the ceremony and then keep it only as a keepsake afterwards.  I just wanted to give him this traditional Irish love ring because my Irish heritage is very important to me and I wanted to share it with him, and I told him that I would be honored if he would wear this ring during the ceremony, but I also told him that he didn’t have to wear it anymore after that if he didn’t want to.  I honestly expected to have to get him a replacement tungsten band, but me giving him this ring (and the explanation I provided for it) meant a lot more to him than the tungsten band and he was married with this ring, so the Claddagh ring has grown on him and now he loves it and always wants to wear it. 🙂

Ours are both white gold but that is where the similarities end

My DF’s ring just arrived! Very happy with it! It’s a 4mm flat palladium band with a brushed finish. The first pic is of my set (very thin palladium bands and a moissanite stone in my e-ring) and the second picture is of my hand wearing my e-ring and DF’s wedding ring on my middle finger (excuse the weird reflection on my e-ring: my phone cover is red!)

Ours don’t match at all.  I wanted to do matching his/her rings but the jewelry store lady looked at me like I had two heads when I asked about it.  Apparently its not common to do that anymore.

Also, my Fiance and I like different things – I ended up with a white gold band with 9 diamonds across the front in sort of bezel settings, and he ended up with a band that was white gold with two yellow gold channels on either side, and a sort-of hammered texture in the center and shiny on the edges.  Way too busy for me.

I still sort of wish I could have found his/her rings that coordinated together and that we both liked.

We both wanted a nature/leaves theme, but mine will be a vintage black hills gold ring, and his will (most likely) be an artisan-made ring off of Etsy in silver.

Ours match. We designed them together with a local artisan and we can’t wait to wear them! The yellow gold came from his grandparents and great-grandmother (three bands), the knotwork were separate rings we bought online from ireland and the artisan put a sleeve inside (so it’s solid now) and added the gold rims.
