I love my stretchy rose gold bracelet (it’s so unique) and champagne diamond rose gold necklace. Beautiful pieces on this thread!

youmaysayimadreamer :  Some things are from “him,” and some are from “me.” Quotations because we share a bank account 😉 He definitely buys me sentimental pieces, but in the case of this bracelet in particular, it was a present to myself. I jokingly call it my “paint ball bracelet” because he spoiled himself on a bunch of new paintball gear, so I spoiled myself with a beautiful art deco bracelet 😀

Vintage 9ct yellow gold aquamarine set from my Mother-In-Law for my birthday. Her birthday is three days before mine, so I’m always gifted with beautiful vintage jewelry that she doesn’t wear anymore.

I’m also a sucker for bracelets. I only really wear my watch and top bracelet daily, but I add the others on occasion. I sometimes wear my solitaire diamond necklace, but I’m not a huge necklace person in general.

mrssam :  be careful! They have a cuff of the month club and it’s addictive!! My mom has been in it for two years and I’m always getting her doubles, and I’m not complaining!

This suffragette bracelet from 100 years ago from London. Given to me by my English MIL’s mother.  My Mother-In-Law had 3 boys so she passed it down to me since she knew I loved jewelry and would treasure it.  The suffragettes wore these to bring attention to women’s voting right’s before 1918 in the UK.  The Green (Peridot) stood for GIVE, white pearl stood for WOMEN and amethyst violet stood for VOTE.  I hate to get political in a jewelry post so I will just say that when I wear it, I think of strong women and that a 100 years on we are still fighting some rather basic equality issues….

I’ve been really enjoying my diamond pendant necklace lately as it’s great to layer with other pieces. It was a gift last year from my husband to say thanks for helping him get through school and passing his architecture boards.

DrAtkins :  OMG. My grandmother gave me a bracelet just like yours. I gave it to my daughter because her engagement ring had sapphires.

I think it’s 18kt plated with platinum. Or maybe just platinum.
