Stones have a tendency to "shrink", so it's best to go with the bigger one, 7.5mm. : (22 votes)

    7.5 mm is too big on a size 5. Pick 7mm. : (5 votes)

I’m definitely subscribing to this thread! I’m hoping for a 7mm amora moissanite and seeing similar sized stones on similar sized fingers (I’m a 4.75) is always so helpful! What style ring are you going for?

I’m a ring size 5! 1.5ct moissanite and the band is 1.8mm wide. I was torn between a 1.25ct and 1.5ct and I’m glad I went bigger! It seemed huge at first but now I’m used to it.

Mine is a 7mm moissanite on a size 4 finger. I voted to go with the 7.5 – I love the size of mine, and the setting sort of gives it a halo around the stone, so it takes up more space:

    I’m a size 6 and my ring is 7mm (1.25ct) Moissanite

My e-ring with my wedding bands (: ^

ETA: I love the size Moissanite that we chose and I think I wouldn’t be as comfortable with anything bigger. 7mm is just flashy enough for me 😉

I would say a 7mm. I’m a ring size 6.5 and got a 7.5 and I find it kind of overwhelming at times. If I could do it all over again I’d get a 1.25.
