If you want a pink rose gold, you have to go for 14k or less. Also, gold jewelery with more karats is softer, then, less durable. And I don’t agree that 18k shows better the diamonds, it’s just a different colour, less pinkish. I think your selection of colour doesn’t affect how the diamonds look, it just depends on your personal taste. I chose 14k because it has the kind of colour that I like and it looks great with my diamonds. I have received tons of compliments.

Mine are 14K rose gold, though I really like 18K as well. I prefer it to look closer to yellow gold than to copper, and mine definitely do!

Here is my 14k rose gold set! It’s just ever so slightly pink, and I love it. I feel like it makes the diamonds stand out a lot!

Here’s my 14k rose gold ring in different lighting. I think it looks warmer than yellow gold but not quite as pink as some other rings.

10k rose on the bottom, 10k yellow in the middle, 14k white on top

18k rose gold sandwiched beteern 18k yellow and 14k white.
I think rose gold makes slightly warmer diamonds look whiter and brighter.

Top picture: 14K top and bottom, 18K middle
Middle picture: 18K
Bottom picture: both 18K
In general, I think they look pretty similar. I will say I feel like the color can vary between designers…I tried on several rings that were the same karat number yet looked slightly different 🤷

Oh, I meant that I think rose gold shows the diamonds better than white gold. Sorry, that didn’t come across in my post!

The pearl ring is 9k and the other is 14k. The 9k looks darker and more copper-y to me, but it’s also vintage and hasn’t been cleaned or polished since I’ve owned it so maybe that’s part of it. They look pretty similar though I think. Sorry this pic isn’t the greatest

- Wedding: August 2019 - New England
Image got flipped somehow so it looks like I’m wearing the rings on my right hand (too lazy to fix it), but this will be my wedding set. Both rings are 14k rose gold.

14K Rose gold on the solitaire band and setting. 10K rose gold on the band.
14K rose gold on solitaire. 10K rose gold on band. (Although I usually wear this ring alone or with a thin, thin band.)
