Well, after numerous attempts, 3 hours of my Saturday gone and a $1.69 iTunes download later, I’ve finally picked my processional song!
The instrumental version of Romeo and Juliets Kissing You.
Phewf! That was my FINAL task (other than losing weight and pre-wedding pampering). Now I am ready to get married. Hurry up July !!!
Please post your processional songs. I know I certainly appreciated as much inspiration as I could get when I was searching.

Woohoo! That was a hard thing for me to do too. At one point I thought I had what I wanted and then a week later I hated what I picked. I’ve had the “new” song picked out for a few months now so I don’t forsee that happening again!
Mine is I Found A Reason by Cat Power

OMG ‘Kissing you’ would have me balling my eyes out, I love it! 🙂
My best friends and cousin who are pro singers, will be singing me down the isle ‘EXTREME’ – ‘More than words’ 🙂

Modern composition that sounds traditional…”Butterfly Waltz.” Cried down the aisle and listening to it between when I picked and the aisle.

A friend of mine is playing acoustic guitar for the ceremony.
For the bridesmaids walk he is playing “Stand By Me” without lyrics and for my walk, he is playing, Isn’t She Lovely by Stevie Wonder, without lyrics. I think these songs are gorgeous played acoustically.

Beautiful Girl, by INXS. It has special meaning for us, and we thought it was perfect. 🙂
BUT. It will be a piano only version.

My bridal party entered to “Good Day Sunshine” and I came down to “Here Comes the Sun”. We had a piano and cornet playing, it sounded awesome 🙂

No bridal party, just me and my dads (bio and step). My guitar-playing friend will be playing The Princess Bride’s “Storybook Love” going in, and Billy Joel’s “You’re My Home” going out. They are both weep-inducing to me, so I am listening to them daily to desensitize myself.

I am doing acoustic guitar player playing:
Chasing Cars-Snow Patrol for myself
Jesu of Mans Desiring for my girls
This Years Love-David Grey for our Unity
God Gave Me You for our exit song

Just decided this literally 5 minutes ago so I am equal parts freaking out excited and realizing that my decision might change, haha – but – Glass Vase, Cello Case, by Tattle Tale (from the “But I’m a Cheerleader” soundtrack – my favourite movie of all time).
Is this kind of poser-ish since it’s a lesbian love story and I’m straight? Or is it just less cliche that I would use it since it is probably way overdone is lesbian weddings, haha.. hmm.

Love that cat powers song. Idea stolen.
