This isn’t blue topaz, but it’s called mystic topaz. It was heat treated to reach this color. It scintillates somewhere between purple/grey/green depending on the angle and the light. This picture shows a lot of color.

Here’s my favorite ring – my awesome engagement ring ๐Ÿ™‚  I fall in love with it over and over again each day ๐Ÿ™‚  It’s a 10mm sky blue topaz in a halo/bezel set with eternity band ๐Ÿ™‚  I can’t yet get a photo that does it justice!

@Lizabean:  Excuse the finger fat…we were in Maui and my hands were bloated from the heat.

I had this one made to go with the blue saphire ring guard from my grandmother as my something blue on the wedding day. Its an ice blue topaz solitaire. I don’t ever wear it on its own, but it looks lovely with the saphire ring guard:

Here’s an older picture:

@Lizabean:  Thanks ๐Ÿ™‚ I find that I prefer asscher and emerald gemstones, but RB/cushion/radiant cuts when it comes to diamonds!
