So we are beginning the ring shopping officially now that I have graduated!! I’m soo excited! For the most part I’ve been torn between a cushion solitaire, ala the Tiffany-Novo style, or a cushion halo – but with a very petite halo and band (I love the Tacori bloom, but my sister saw it first!). But yesterday I came across a version of Tiffany’s split-shank Lucida that they apparently aren’t even offering yet, unless your stone is 3 carats or over? So now we’re thinking of maybe having this custom made, and most likely with a 1.5-2.5 “carat” moissanite center stone, although my SO is still hesitant on if my wanting moissanite is a “test” or not for him haha
Also I’d appreciate it if you would post details of your ring’s carat size, band width, and finger size (I’m a size 6)… now that I have the summer off I’d love to fill my time with looots of ring porn hehe
Thanks in advance ladies!!

Mine is cushion cut, bezel set w/ halo from Knox Jewelers. The center stone is .79 carat and my ring size is 4.75

Omg that solitare is beaaaautiful!

I have a cushion solitare on a pave band, band width is 3mm (I think).
Center stone is 1.53 carats and my finger is a 4.5 (ring is sized to 4.75 to allow for swelling in warm months). The band has 0.25 c of diamonds in it.
Fiance ordered it online from adiamor.com (it is similar to the Tiffany Novo but better quailty center stone for almsot half the price):

Beautiful, thank you both! It’s going to be such a tough decision, there are so many gorgeous rings out there!

I have a cusion cut solitar from moissaniteco.com. Its pretty similar to the tiffany novo, but not exactly the same (they do have a replica of the novo). This is my ring cushion and the novo replica.
Here are a few pictures, I wear a size 4 (my ring is a 4.5, but its way to big) and the stone is around 1.5 ct, but I don’t know the exact size since my fiance bought it.

ok, i did more than one picture, but they didn’t work.
here’s a picture of it on my hand and my avatar shows the moissanite sparkle nicely.

Here is my moissanite cushion. Mine is in the classic Tiffany replica setting.

Here is my halo setting and I’m a size 7 1/2 ring size and with the band and ering it’s about 3/4 tw.

My ring is neither a solitare or halo (though I came ridiculously close to getting a halo). The center stone is 2.5k and the TW is 3.25k. It is a size 5 but it is kind of loose. The side stones are half moons and bullets. It does not photograph well at all. Boo.

Here is mine…it is a 1920s setting, .5ct cushion cut stone. I seriously considered a halo, but it just didn’t look right on my hand.

Thank you they are lovely!
@LMD84: I love the side stones, I looked at a cushion halo with half-moon sidestones, stunning!
@red45: I love the history of that!! A 1920’s ring, how amazing! I wouldn’t even know where to begin when looking for an antique ring? I do love the look of the old cut cushions, emeralds, etc
