@MsLotus: I had never really seen half moon side stones before my ring (I was seriously into the micropave look) but they really compliment a cushion nicely.

I prefer halo! I’ve been in love with this style for awhile now. Here is mine 🙂

I’m biased of course but I prefer the solitaire style!  Mine is a 2.05 carat cushion, 2mm Vatche pave setting putting the total carat weight at 2.3.  Finger size 4.

1.4k round solitaire set in platinum on a yellow gold band (very narrow, but I’m not sure exactly how narrow… no more than 2mm. Ring size 5.5.

I’m torn! There’s something so regal and elegant about the cushion cut either way. I think if the center stone is big enough and it is set just right, it is gorgeous as a solitaire.

My ring is a 1.25 Carat Cusion with a halo and split shank (the sides equal .75 C). When I saw this thread I figured I should post because my ring is 3 out of the 4. My finger size is 6.5.

P.S. I posted the stock photo because I never took great photos myself, and my ring is curently “under-construction.” If someone is considering a similar ring I want them to be able to see it for its actual beauty not my poor picture taking abilities. The photo I took was with crappy lighting on my old phone (no flash and poor pixel quality) for facebook.

@Lao73011:  Your ring is INCREDIBLE. One of my favorite on the Bee by far!

@Lao73011:  Such a beautiful ring! I’ve never seen anything like it before.
