I’ve been looking (and dreaming) about dresses lately, and I’ve discovered that what I thought was my style, wasn’t.
I thought up until a few months ago my dream dess would be a mermaid, fluffy, strappless kind of dress (which I still love!) but lately, my eye catches onto the vintage kind of dresses.
So I want to see your dream dresses!
Here are mine.
This one is by J’Aton Couture
And this photo is from Three Nails Photography (he’s so talented!)

I am madly in love with Watters Sterling. They dont have it on the website anymore so my plan is to ttry on similar silhouettes and then get Jasmine’s to make it.

My dream dress happened to be my wedding dress. 🙂 I always pictured myself in a beaded mermaid gown, and when I started dress shopping, I would like a dress, but I always wanted more. I wanted more sparkle. Every dress I tried on had something missing. When Allure Bridals finally put their Allure Couture Spring 2014 collection on their website, I saw THE dress I have been dreaming of! I ended up ordering it from a bridal store without trying it on or ever seeing it in person!

@LeSpice: I haven’t tried any dresses on, but I saw this one at a bridal show the other night. I failed to catch the name of the designer, so I might call the shop to find out!
I love mermaid style, but I was usually drawn to satin dresses. But then I saw this one and did not want to walk away! It has all these dreamy layers of different laces and tulle, and of course… sparkle! The bolero is seperate, obviously (and I’d go without one). I wanted to take it home with me!!

@NowandLater: I can’t see the photo you posted for some reason! 🙁
That really is amazing! I love mermaid dresses as well!

I had a couple of dream dresses. This Paloma Blanca I fell in love with.
This Allure one.
Then I saw this Temperley London one.
I ended up with a gorgeous Casablanca Couture.

@Jacqui90: OMG that is perfect. Stunning wow. If I saw that, though I’m married I’d be so tempted to try it on 😉

@CatyLady: Yeah I hope I can try it on sometime! 🙂
