    Yes, of course!

I wish, but it doesn't fit my body type (or budget)

    Nah, it's just a dream

@AverageBessyJ:  There is a thrift shop(yes, a thrift shop, LOL) about a mile from my house, with the sleeveless Alfred Angelo version of this dress, for $60…I almost got it, but it’s a size too big, and I don’t want to do anything with alterations!

@Cady:  I loved Hilary Duff’s dress in A Cinderella Story too! I pictured something similar for my wedding but I ended up not looking good in a poofy dress.

I loved Amanda Seyfried’s ethereal dress in Mamma Mia – but it’s just not me . . .

I actually had hoped to wear this dress (below) for our wedding – it’s the dress that made the Samoan designers MENA famous when it appears in the movie “Sione’s Wedding” (released in the USA as “Samoan Wedding” – a great flick, check it out!) The designers had agreed to lend it to me, but then emailed me that it was a size 6 rather than the 8 I though it was, and I knew I’d never be able to get into it – I’m wearing a different one of their designs, though!

    Does this count?

At age 4 in the theater I remember being simply stunned at her dress. I even had a Barbie with a remarkably similar dress (I still have that little yellow Barbie dress despite getting rid of all my old Barbies).

It didn’t really affect my wedding dress decision other than my first internet-crush dress was off-the-shoulder (Sophia Tolli “Vincia”) but I ended up with a sparkly lace sweetheart-with-straps dress instead.

I actually loved Edith’s dress more than Mary’s in Downton Abbey:

I absolutely loved the dress I wore – it was perfect for our vineyard wedding. BUT if I had the chance for a smaller, beachside wedding (what I had originally wanted), I would have tried to find Jennifer Aniston’s dress from “Just Go With It”. It’s simple, sexy, and just awesome. You can’t tell from the pic, but there are blingy, lace panels on each side to cover some of the side boob. Love it.

Galadriel’s dress from The Hobbit! Except all in white, like this:

Grace Kelly’s dress in High Society:

And, of course, Arwen’s dress in LOTR:

(I was going to buy a LOTR-inspired wedding gown, but was too hesitant to order online. Sad.)

To be honest, most of the dresses in this thread are not my style at ALL but the Galadriel one and the Grace Kelly one are stunning!
