We’re having our ceremony and reception at the same location.

Ceremony/Reception (except we’ll be adding a backdrop and other coral decorations and centerpieces)

I’m not sure if mine match but here are the pics.

I’ve never actually seen my venue as I’m planning from overseas but it will be a winter wedding and the reception and ceremony spaces are connected so nobody needs to go outside.

Dress is a mock up of what it will hopefully look after alterations!

Ceremony:

Reception;

Venue

And dress which will have lace all the way around the back!

My ceremony venue:

inside (though I took the picture around Christmas when it was set-up for a dinner and not a ceremony):

The reception venue (which is literally across the street from the ceremony – super easy!):

My dress (I have an embellished ivory/silk/tulle sash that I will add to give it a bit more sparkle):

The ceremony is taking place at the church at our undergrad campus where we met 🙂

The reception will be at the country club where his parents had their reception

and here’s my dress!

Super fun thread!

Here’s my ceremony location – it’s a Middle Age castle in the center of the city where I live in Belgium – super pretty!

This is the room inside where the ceremony will be held. In the picture it’s decorated for a dinner around Christmas, so the layout will be obviously different:

Then we move across the street for the reception:

I kept my dress pretty simple (weddings here last until the wee hours of the morning, so it was really important to me that the dress was comfortable and could be easily danced in):

I did get a sparkly sash to add a little bling and definition of my waist, but the rest will stay as it is.

I wasn’t really trying to get them to “match” but I think mine go really well together!  I think when you pick multiple things that are your style, they typically just happen to work together.

My ceremony and reception were in a local Greek banquet hall.  I’m not Greek,  but the amount and quality of food they offered was incredible.  I had over 30 appetizers alone! I don’t have any decent photographs yet,  since my wedding was only 2 weeks ago,  but this is what I could scrape off the internet and family cell phone grainy photos.  Here is the ceremony locationhere is the reception room.  I had 3 different reception rooms but this is the final one. (Photograph from internet) i had magenta uplighting for the dinner, and color change uplighting for the dancing. Here is my “Mrs and Mr” table,  lol and here is the dress bustled side  view
