Here’s my ring.
I don’t have a picture of my dress but here’s the closest thing I could find to my custom dress. The lace on my dress overall was a very sheer lace and the train was a smaller sweep train compared to this picture. I also didn’t have any silver embellishments – mine were white.

The style of our wedding (casual hill country elopement) and my ring do not match. But I didn’t think they needed to. I like all different kinds of styles.

While I am recovering from a 3hr nap after work today from being up last night on here til almost 1am (and downing 3 glasses of wine while doing so), I wasn’t going to hop on here today (damnit this site is addictive) and yet I did and decided to peek into this one thread’s updates.
All I have to say is WOW at everyone’s dresses. Damn gorgeous. I went through this thread again as earlier today at the office I envisioned a change of design for my elopement dress. Just breathtaking all of the posts/pics here. Will post my new design in a few weeks here (sewing it myself, fking ugh, why do I do this shit to myself)/
Wonderful choices all!

Although we’re engaged, we’re not yet planning the wedding. When we do, we have two venues in mind but both are completely different in style.
Firstly here’s my beautiful ring E picked out (almost) all by himself!
Wedding 1: big country-type house, big 2 day party, princessy type wedding etc etc; then I absolutely adore this dress:
Wedding 2: on a ‘farm’ with different weddings, would have a festival type wedding which would be a lot less expensive and I think would give more opportunity to inject our personalities into it; I absolutely love this kind of style…
Although not sure if it would be too ‘blingy’ for me in real life
Also adore this dress (but without the split), but not sure if it would fit in with ‘wed-fest’
Regardless of what type we go for, we’re be actually getting married on the banks of Loch Ness at E’s gran’s house (on the banks). I think any dress would look beautiful there, but want to match my future dress with the reception theme 🙂

I love that Hayley Paige! I think a few brides posted pictures recently, so that might help you decide on the bling factor. Also, I love the idea of your wedding venue! Sounds magical.

I’m engaged and here’s my ring:
And here’s my dress:
My style is sometimes all over the place, but I’ve been described as a hippie a lot, haha. The wedding is a tuscan/italian theme.
