@MrsMe2012:  So I asked my H what he calls our wedding.  He said if we didn’t know our witnesses (we did, they were his parents) it’d be an elopement but he’s not so sure since we did know them.  Hmm – private, planned, destination wedding should cover it!  Ah well, I’ll keep posting over here – this board incorporates all types of intimate weddings.

@KellyLouise:  Your dress was awesome, looked like you & hubby had a great time!

Everyone’s dress was very pretty, gave me hope that even with an elopement I can still have my dream dress ๐Ÿ™‚

I’m so glad you ladies posted this! I am totally struggling about picking a dress! I’ve always wanted an amazing gown, but thought about buying just a pretty long white dress…

I started out with the Ambrosia by Maggie Sottero, then I tried a pretty white and floral dress, and just found the Diana Royale.  It’s an older style, but I’m obsessed! Its totally ‘the one!’  I don’t have a picture of me in it, but I’ll post it after our elopement!

Here’s mine!! But my mom convinced me it would be better to have the train removed for our destination elopement. The seamstress hemmed it a little shorter than I imagined, though, so my already completely flat shoes stick out just a bit.

We’re also doing a planned elopement and DH wants to wear a tux. I orignally planned to be more casual, but have to shine a little next to his handsomeness in a tux. Here’s the casual dress I chose. I’ll be wearing a  champagne sash, not purple, that’s allt hat davids had to try.

I’m actually wearing my dress that I was going to wear for our normal wedding. Honestly, I would have still picked out my gown no matter what circumstance.

I’ll play too.  I just got my dress in the mail.  It was a sample.  It’s not super fancy, but I think it will be nice for the beach.  Plus, I’m adding a chapel length veil.  Sorry for the awful picture:
