I want to have a good amount of Christmas songs at our reception, mostly during dinner maybe a few to dance to. Whats your favorite?

Mine is the Christmas Song – “Chestnuts roasting on an open fire…”
Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas
Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree
O Holy Night
I can’t choose just one. I LOVE Christmas music and listen to nothing else from Dec. 1 onwards (if I start any earlier I get tired of them before Christmas rolls around) and sing along to every song. I am a Christmas carol nerd!
@hergreenapples:Me too! We have a few radio stations who play christmas from right before thanksgiving until new years! I love it!
I think my fav is baby its cold outside! (thats just because im humming it right now)
White Christmas and Silent Night are my two all time favs. Now I have Christmas songs running around in my head and it’s making me wish it was December.
By mid-July, my Christmas Pandora starts making its rotations….
My favorites tend to be religious, but I love the crooner style ones, too.
I LOVE the duet “Baby It’s Cold Outside” especially the version from Elf. You should check out the whole soundtrack because it has some other good Christmas songs.
“Baby it’s Cold Outside” – Zooey Deschannel version
and
“I’ll be Home for Christmas”
come all ye faithful… hmm we used to have thisrecord of christmas songs with donald duck though. and i loved him 🙂
I absolutely love “I’ll be home for christmas” it always makes me cry…in a good way!
I love Christmas music and have been known to listen to it year round. It’s impossible to pick just one when I have so many favorites.
Some that I like include:
Baby It’s Cold Outside – Lady Antebellum (slightly different version than all the others)
Marshmallow World – Dean Martin & Frank Sinatra
Believe – Josh Groban
The Man With The Bag – Kay Starr
Silent Night – Enya
Song For A Winter’s Night – Sarah Maclachlan
Celtic Woman Christmas (the entire cd is great)
O Come O Come Emmanuel (from the Nativity Story soundtrack)
A fun song for the kids to dance to: Reindeer Boogie by Trisha Yearwood
For a bouquet/garter toss: Santa Baby
