There are so many post of invitations. I always say, “Those are so amazing! Where’d they get them?” Can we start a new post of invitations? Post a photo, where you got them (links are awesome!) and how much you paid per invite.
Can’t wait to see everyones!

I’ll start!!!! We’re getting them from The Memory Trunk on Etsy (she is very slow to communicate so beware!) and we paid about $3.20 an invite/rsvp suite

I designed our invites, and we had them printed through Catprint. For 50 sets (250 pieces) it cost us just over $100 with shipping. This doesn’t include the bellybands, monograms, or envelopes.

Fiance and I made our invites, and they came out to about $6 per invite. More than your average diy due to some lessons learned, but I think less than had we bought them through a professional. I’m so proud of them!

I’ve made a few sets of invites now lol. Here are the pocketfold ones I did for my wedding (approx $2 each, DIY with supplies from paperandmore)

Invite #2 (less than $0.50 each, DIY with supplies from paperandmore)

My most recent invite, this is a sample I made for my friend’s wedding, I think this are going to come about to about $2-$3 each.

Everything was designed on my computer using photoshop and indesign, then printed on my canon pixma

@HelloRaeven: I bought two invitation kits at Michael’s and paid $40 for 80 invitations (had a 40% off coupon). I then designed the invitations myself and then printed them at my FI’s work. We paid 36 cents per colored ink invite to print. So in total, we paid $70 for all of our invitations. So about 87 cents per invitation.
This is the nearly done version (I did re-center the info card so that everything lined up correctly).

I made ours in photoshop, and then had them printed at Staples (postcards were printed there as well, but took a couple of weeks to process). The total cost (including striped bags, string, and tickets) was less than $200, for 100 invitations.

@lizzieb: It is plantable! And part of the reason our invites were so expensive. Got them from http://www.botanicalpaperworks.com/ if you are interested!

@elysion: Love it! i was thinking about doing that and planting the RSVPs, and yeah, that paper is expensive! I’ve looked at a few different places now. Love your invites 🙂
