herrera2016 : I’m literally selling a ring in the classifieds here on weddingbee, ha. I had bought it a while ago purely because I fell in love with it and I think it’s just stunning, but my fiance had something else in mind for me and wanted the proposal to be of his own doing. Here’s the link if you want to look. =)

Soon2BMrsFredericks : I bought through Starsgem a seller on ebay and Alibaba.they sell indvidual stones and with maky yo custom jewelry if you ask. I had read about them on the “I got a cheap moissanite of of Ebay part 2” thread. I would suggest you read/ skim the last 20 or so pages to get a feel for it. You can even see my custom ring saga as it played out.
This thread is also a shorter synopsis of what some of us have been doing:
I went with an IJ because I really like warm stones. A lot of the folks on those threads lend towards GH for the most diamond like appearance and you can read some of their discussions so my your own informed choices.

Soon2BMrsFredericks : I went with an IJ because I really like warm stones. From what I have seen and read on here GH tends to be a favorite for “most diamond like”.
I bought throught the Ebay and Alibaba seller Starsgem. They are a stonecutting company out of China that cuts moissanite for some major America jewelers. I sent them the info on the size of the stone I wanted color ect. and pictures of the ring style and they custom cut me the stone and made the ring. I first came across them on:
If you read/skim the last 20 pgs so pages you will get a better idea of what some of us have been up to.
This is also a good thread and is sort of a synopsis of the whole converstation some bee’s are having:
On both threads you will see quite a bit of talk about cuts and colors for moissanite as well as comparisons that might be helpful in your journey no matter what route you take.
