CinqueTerre :  😍 I wouldn’t change a thing! And I think you’ll enjoy it more on your hand. But that’s me! You could even wear it as a rhr. Enjoy!

CinqueTerre :  Well, I must share that David Klass has sized engraved rings for me. He was able to somehow have the engraving redone and it was seemless. And it was very reasonable. Sorry to enable…lol, but I do believe it can possibly be done. Shucks that it doesn’t fit both left and right ring fingers. It’s a beaut!

ETA upon closer inspection of your pic, I believe it may have been sized at one time already. I could be wrong though.

CinqueTerre :  The ring is gorgeous on you! I agree with Slick, I wouldn’t change it to a pendant. Such a beautiful piece. Is the ring platinum? It looks like it was resized and the solder looks to be white gold, since it has a yellowy tinge to it just in that one spot. My mom recently gave me a platinum ring that needed to be resized and it also was engraved and had been sized using gold instead of platinum the first time. The jeweler removed the white gold and resized for me (smaller). The pattern wasn’t perfect where it had been sized before, but it’s at the back of my hand and I never see that tiny spot. I would size it with David Klass if you want the engraving to be redone and perfect though. He’s great at that stuff!

Or wear it as an alternate on your left. I think it’s good to rotate rings so that no one gets too badly worn down.

CinqueTerre :  Your new ring is absolutely gorgeous! I have an OEC I’m thinking of resetting and I think the antique setting you have is too perfect to change! I wish I could find one that lovely for mine. I thought about setting mine in my soleste replica but I’m not sure if the modern setting would do it justice.

Waiting on a few things….Eeek!! I had my pink moissy set finally (top), pink spinel set in my grandmother’s ering setting (middle) and the prongs on my antique aquamarine repaired (bottom). I am so super excited for it all to get back to me!! DK did the work. I am in love with this picture, he did a fab job! Can you tell I’m a little OEC obsessed?
