Ok, so one thing that helps me stay on track to losing weight/toning up for the wedding, or just life in general, is to plan out on paper what I am going to eat the next day, then I like to go back and see how well I did on it. So, i thought I would start a log on here and hopefully some of you ladies would like to join in on it too.
So everyday we write tomorrows menu then at the end of the day chime in and say how we did! Maybe we can get ideas from each other also! So here is mine for tomorrow..
B: 2 eggs, 1 cup cottage cheese, iced tea
s: naval organge
l: greens salad with cucumber, tomato, cottage cheese, feta, 1 hard boiled egg, balsamic vinigarette
s: mini bag of lime+salt popcorn
d: ny strip steak with crumbled blue cheese, small salad or broccoli.

Oh I’m no good at this type of thing! Here’s what I will most likely eat tomorrow:
Bowl of cereal and milk. Probably really sugary cereal like Trix.
Sandwich for lunch – most likely ham on rye bread with mustard and pepperjack cheese. I’ll also have a pomegranate fruit strip (Archer farms brand), some snack type thing like pretzels, and 1 serving of fruit (probably an orange or apple).
I’ll consume lots of easter candy as a snack when I get home from work. Cadbury mini eggs are yummy.
For dinner I’ll probably have pigs in a blanket (hot dogs rolled in croissants with cheese and baked). Perhaps they are childish but my husband and I bought all the ingredients for them on Friday night and have been waiting to make them until after Easter. Otherwise I’ll have some leftover ham for dinner. And I don’t know what else I’d have with that but I’m sure it’d be something unhealthy like more Easter candy.
I don’t eat very healthy at all. Probably why I’ve gained so many pounds since the wedding.

It would probably be a really good idea so that I could make sure that I am eating enough (I honestly think I don’t eat enough during the day normally).

@ameriem…lol thats funny! Nevermind dieting! My fiance got me so much easter candy! 🙁 you cant really see it in the basket, but i got peeps, a chocolate bunny, gummy bears, pez, etc!! oh and a barbie fishing pole!?!?!? lol [attachment=858469,107520]

For lunch (and put in the fridge for hubbies dinner!), I’ll be assembling little pita pizzas- cheese, homemade tomato sauce, diced peppers, and maybe a little bit of cut up bacon.
A snack of yogurt and maybe some fruit at work.
I need to pick up dinner, I’ll probably go to the grocery store and get some pre-packaged salad, and they do these awesome shrimp spring rolls that I like.
I never eat breakfast, which is awful, I know
I am also going to the gym after work tomorrow and I really hope the scale hasn’t gone up from my weekend gym break!

OK so this morning I was lazy and didnt get up in time to make my eggs…however i improvised with a small bowl of Smart Start cereal with 5 strawberries sliced up and one cup of cottage cheese and some water! I am about to have my orange in 15 minutes though!

Pre-gym: 2 chocolate covered strawberries (it was 530 in the morning, k?)

Breakfast: tofu+green beans and coffee (i was lazy and for some reason it sounded ok)
Lunch: Tuna with lettuce and lime juice
Snack: 2 kiwis
Dinner: Grilled sea bass and some kind of TBD steamed vegetable
Part of my “clean food” diet for the next 7-10 days.

Today’s food plan was like this for me
Breakfast – Better Start English muffin with lowfat cream cheese
Snack – 2 bananas and rice crispy treat
Lunch – Easter leftovers: ham, potatoes, green beans and spanakopita
Dinner – baked ziti (with no meat =and fat free ricotta and mozzarella still tastes just as good!)
I need to go to the grocery store tonight and get better lunch options and more fruit to incorporate. I’m thinking pita and hummus and maybe salsa. Does anyone have good lunch ideas to bring to work?

This is fun! Thanks ladies for participating…ejs had a great idea to post your work outs also! I am not working out today…Fiance and I are grillin up some steaks after work and spending some quality time together!

This is smart! I try to do weekly meal plans but they often get away from me–it definitely helps with dinners, though, and grocery shopping. I have to try to get back into planning the whole day with snacks. One thing that always messes me up is those evening snacks, though; even if I’ve been good all day, I wind up eating too much before bed. I think I have to cut back on my daily glass of wine with dinner, since that’s what seems to start the downslide.
For today, I had whole wheat waffles for breakfast, and am planning pb & j on wheat bread for lunch with a small portion of baby carrots. Afternoon snack of a piece of fruit (small banana or an apple), then crustless “quiche” for dinner and probably popcorn when we get home from town meeting. Not a stellar day for vegetables…I’ll have to remedy that tomorrow.
