@RTsLove:  Sure! In general the pro pictures are crisper, but I’m very happy with some of the non-pro photos I received. πŸ™‚

@GreenDream:  I like the non-pro shots you posted! You look so relaxed in the first photo, although I like the perspective of the pro photo better.

@GreenDream:  Beautiful pro shot! This is a perfect example of the difference people often see between pro and non-pro shots. The pro shot has a completely different feel. It’s crisp, clean, and dreamy.

To be completely honest some photos that I love are from guests. I have several friends/family members that are photography professionals so I’m not surprised. Here are a few random ones for comparison sake.

Just because a photog is a pro doesn’t mean they are qulified or experienced in weddings. I have a friend who’s a part time photog but she will tell you she cannot photograph weddings. My photographer is a full time pro that went to school for photography and won many awards. some amateurs can take great shots every now and again but I woulD not risk not having amazing wedding pictures tht last forever.

@GreenDream:  So far you have the best examples I think. Note how your photographer even made your getting ready location look classier by focusing on cleaner backgrounds. Editing is good also.

Some of the others on this thread look like they were beginner “pros,” major differences are mostly photoshop actions. I’d love to see more! I wonder if people could post what they paid too and see if the differences are bigger for the bees who paid more? Test the whole you get what you pay for deal πŸ™‚

haha this is a great post. I had an awesome wedding photographer, and I don’t regret it one bit.
