Hi was wondering if anyone can give me some advice. Has anyone ordered a replica dress From Cherrys shop by an Israeli designer (there’s 2 I have in mind but obvs can’t say the names). I have read and seen some amazing stories and pictures on here but also some horror stories too. I’m just worried about spending $900 on a dress that is going to be awful or not what I wanted. These are my inspiration pictures…

I want the front exactly like this but without the mesh panels, ans the train like this…

I have asked for the train to be 2 meters which Cherry has said is fine.

The backless part I want like this…

and and this is a close up of the appliqué all over the dress and down the train…

so, what does everyone think? Do you think Cherry will be able to do a good job for me? I’m a bit nervous! I haven’t actually ordered yet just got a quote.

Thanks x

Hi All, I just wanted to share my experience with Cherry so far. I know a lot of bees have been unhappy lately with their finished products but I am quite happy!

-July 16th I contacted her to place an order and sent two photos of the dress I wanted made. She responded within an hour and gave me their measurement chart and color chart. Also she wanted to know if I wanted heavy beading or light beading.

-July 17th I confirmed the color Satin #60 Lace #80 and told her I would get back to her with my measurements in a few days. I also confirmed heavy beading on the bodice and light beading throughout the skirt. That same day she gave me a quote of $426US including shipping. I paid $552CAN the same day via PayPal.

-July 21st I sent her my complete measurements with shoes on. She responded same day and production started.

-August 14 I received completed photos from her.

I did not ask for any changes to the photos originally sent and once I saw the completed photos I am not asking for any revisions. I am quite happy with the dress and I hope it fits as good as it looks. I will update you all when I receive it and take photos. Overall I am very pleased with the communication and ease of placing an order through Cherry.

my dress from cherry! photos don’t do it justice what so ever. i bought this dress as a backup, but unfortunately a backup i probably will not end up using. let me know if anyone is interested in buying it from me! it’s in ivory with matching beading. pm me for details. it’s never been worn, just for a few minutes to try on and it needs alterations so excuse the fact that’s a little big towards the waist and below areas. for some reason, she took the photos before she finished the buttons, they actually go all the way to the end of the train.

FutureMrsHyer:   I asked cherry to remove the some of the appliques near the collar bone. I agree in the mid pro pics the appliques look fuller – i think this is because they are not sewn down ( i kind of like the 3D look too)   Cherry is sending me extra appliques incase there is any nip showing…  The bust cups are not attached to th actual dress. If she can get it to 80% I will be happy. I am dying to see pics of the back and a more high res image so I can check the beading detail.

nygirla:  I’m so hapy to see your dress they did such a great job with it, I have a dress with a tulle skirt and a fitted lace bodice too so I’m so happy to see how well your’s came out and it makes me sure mine will look great too. Why didn’t you wear any of the dresses you got from Cherry? I know Cherry has had a lot of bad reviews lately but I thought your dresses from her were at least okay? You got 3 didn’t you?  If I didn’t know that the 3rd picture wasn’t a model in a designer dress I wouldn’t have known. Congrats on your wedding!

skylar84:  I’m so sorry things didn’t go as planned with your dress. Are you sure someone will be able to fix it?

minkybee2016:  A fraudulent tracking number? That is really really shady. I hate this for you and I hope you get the rest of your money back 🙁

raRAminz:  I think the skirt looks really pretty and so elegant this dress was actually one that I considered having made for my pre wedding dinner party but Linda said that she didn’t think she could make it like the original, which I really respect her honesty in telling me that.

alexsymm:  Maybe your mother could loan you something beautiful that she already has to wear on your special day. I’m so sorry that the shop 2.0 did not do a good job on your veil. Just remember that the most importatn thing is that you’re getting married and you have a stunning dress and your mother will be there for it that is what is really important.

minkybee2016:  I’m so sorry! I know your heart must be in your stomach over this. Another bee montioned that the shop 2.0 has 6 unhappy customers this week, that is unacceptable. I will not be suggesting them to anyone else, I don’t want to have any part in putting someone in the situation that you’re in!

georgec:  After this week I wouldn’t risk it with the shop 2.0. Have you considered the shop or Linda’s shop?

MrsGauthier:  I’m so hapy to see a good dress after all the bad experiences. That is perfect I tried on something very similar that cost $1500 so your dress is a real winner. What really makes it is the ivory and blush mix and the beading. LOVE.

nygirla:  You look perfect your dress is just like the original. Could not be better. I wanted to ask, I remember that you had some changes made to your dress and want to know how long it took, I haven’t gotten final pictures yet and I decided before I ever got them that I wanted to go completely backless so they need to change that up for me so I was wondering aout how long changes take with Linda’s shop?

skylar84:  I’m sorry that your dress wasn’t what you were hoping for. This is the second dress that you have gotten that you weren’t happy with too isn’t it? I think I remember you getting something from THE SHOP and the skirt wasn’t shaped right. Is it really nothing like the original?

raRAminz:  The skirt looks nice maybe not like the original but still beautiful. The top, I would tell them that you don’t want the cups showing at all and that the neckline needs to be the same on both side because its definitely not symmetrical right now but that is just appliques so I think they should be able to fix it. I still would not recommend them to anyone at this point.

FutureMrsHyer:  I just have to admire what an great positive outlook you have. Honestly all these mess ups makes me want to give up on saving money and just go buy something from the store but I guess I’ll wait the 2 weeks and see how Linda’s shop does since I already made the down payment.

My dress came! Don’t have any pics of me in it yet unfortunately! I was soooooo nervous, but I love it and I’m so glad I did it! It needs a good steaming and some minor alterations but overall I’m pleased! Sorry for the bad lighting and huge pics LOL.

Here is what it’s supposed to look like: (I added lace trim at the bottom on mine)

And here is mine:
