Received another round of pics from Cherry 2.0… feeling much more love for it! I have been told they are finishing beading and dress will be done!
My dress was never strictly based on one dress, rather a few… Shape of one, lace of another, beading like this etc. because of this the design has evolved throughout the whole process to see what works- Cherry has been very accommodating.
Cherry is also sending me a few pairs of appliques which I will get attached locally so there is no nipslip… I will also put nude lining over the bust if needed.
I always knew I would have/want to tweak it once received… I am very indecisive!  Any feedback would be greatly appreciated

I am concerned the skirt lining is too pink… the colour looks different in every pic I get sent.

Fingers crossed I should have final pics for approval in the next few days.

(I have smudged out the poor ladies face in the background for privacy)

I got my final production pictures from Cherry. Honestly, I love it. I think it will be even more beautiful in person. There are a few things that I wasn’t extremely happy with (i.e. I asked for pearls instead of crystals) but its totally fine. I think for the price, you really can’t beat what I got. I think it looks well done, and i’m optimistic that its going to be stunning. My only concern is that the dress looks big…i’m hoping its just the way it looks on the form. I was SERIOUSLY concerned when I got the mid-pros. It just didnt look anything like what I was wanting. I tried to stay optimistic, and I really think it worked out well! I would definitely go the replica route, and in fact, I plan to. I am ordering a more simple ceremony dress this week. I’ll keep everyone posted on the progress!!

Let me know your thoughts….

Zelda1:  Wow, that dress looks amazing on you!!! 2.0 did a fantastic job, as did you with the small touch-ups you made.

FutureMrsHyer:  I think  it looks great, and honestly can’t see anything that needs modification. Maybe one of the other bees with sharper eyes could catch something more subtle, but it looks beautiful to me! It might not be a bad idea to ask them about the size before you approve it if you’re concerned, but sometimes I think the mannequins they use just don’t reflect the shape and size of the dress well. I’m so glad this worked out for you after all the concern with the mid-production update.

nnenibee: Thank you! I am SO pleased! For the cost, I thought it turned out GREAT! I paid right around 400 in case anyone was curious. I confirmed the size, and she says its according to my measurements. My guess is that its the mannequin making it look off. I dont have a sharp eye either, but I’m also not SUPER crazy about the small details. The imperfections are more than okay with me. I think that I’ll have a bustle added, and if any other details need changed, i’ll have it done locally. I’ll post more pics when I get the dress! i’m hoping it ships out tomorrow 🙂

A bee posted this in one of the forums:

Does anyone recall where she got this from? I am trying to solve the whole “molded bra cup” problem with the shop and thinking that maybe giving them this could help. Please help!!!

bostonbride2016:  I believe the dress was made by someone she knows. I was talking to her for a bit because we were the only ones who had our dresses made by seamstresses in the US. She got a good deal because she knows the seamstress, but will probably cost more if you don’t know the seamstress. Her dress was definitely gorgeous though!

bostonbride2016:  yes, I was responding about the bra cups lol. Not sure if I could still find her posts…, and she probably gave me an info about her seamstress, but yeah, this dress was made by a local US seamstress, so she was there for the whole process and for exactly what she wanted. Definitely not as cheap as the China dresses, but I think it was still decently priced. Where did you find this photo?
