MrsGauthier:  I love your dress! I’ve been talking to Cherry my self and it’s so good to see that people are happy with 2.0 since there’s been some negative reviews lately! Would you mind telling me what colors you chose? I’ve been looking for something similar.

diybrideinsg:  absolutely beautiful, does not even look like a replics, just the top portion looks different but, still just as beautiful.

I just got my final pictures for my dress a few days ago.  The dress should arrive on Thursday! 🙂 I did have a second set of mid production, but decided not to post them since the changes I requested were very minor (lace around the bust at the top, and a couple more layers of tulle – the skirt looked a little too thin before).

I think it turned out really nice! 😀 I am so excited to see the dress in person. I am considering adding beading and some additional lace myself; I have some beautiful Alencon 3D lace and I think it might make a nice addition.  I’ll post more pictures when it’s here and I can try it on!

diybrideinsg:  I lOVE this gown and was seriously considering having a replica made. Is she making this 2 pieces like the original or 1?

AppleDainty:  GORGEOUS!!!  Did they add a bustle to the train or are you opting against a bustle?  I want a similar tulle bottom but I haven’t decided on if I just want to skip the train all together to avoid bustle issue or figure out what’s the best approach?  I just know I’m not a fan of the bubble butt bustle

My dress from The Shop just arrived today after being shipped last Thursday. I made my first contact with Liza on May 06, 2015 and after 3 quotations and a lot of back and forth, I received my final quote on June 27, 2015, paid on June 28 by Credit Card and received confirmation that production had began on July 11.

I went with premium quality material and no photo service which I know would give most persons a heart attack. However the dress was already over $700 US with shipping, which is $1400 where I am from. I could not afford to pay more than that right now as my budget is extremely tight. So this was done more out of necessity.

On August 08 I received confirmation that my dress was completed and in quality inspection. It was then shipped on August 20.

I absolutely love my dress. It is hard buying a dress that you have never seen, especially when it is virtually impossible to try on a dress where you live. There are no bridal shops here. However, they captured my vision, which admittedly was simple. The dress has excellent boning and the cups that are built into the bust are sturdy and I did not feel like the dress would slip. The quality of craftmanship was excellent with no loose threads, beautiful beading etc. The dress also came with everything I asked for.

The only complaints I have are that the modesty panel for the dress was dirty (easy to wash so no big deal); the dress is way too long (I added four inches to the measurement to accomodate my shoes and it was still dragging all over the floor; it bunches a little in the tummy area (probably because the hips are snug even though I have not gained any inches and I added on two inches to the measurement to make sure it would fit); and frankly the dress is really heavy and I was sweating like a pig in the dress, but then again Barbados is always hot so that’s not their fault.

I went home from work in my lunch hour just to try the dress on so I’ve attached some pictures below of the beading, the dirty modesty panel and the original dress try on. Please forgive the messy house.. Overall I am very pleased with my purchase and would purchase again.

NewBee2016:  I decided against a train.  This is just going to be used for a photo shoot, so I don’t think it’s worth it. The gown I’m going to wear for our ceremony and reception will probably have a bustle, though. 🙂

Help! Does anyone know fabrics? I am getting this dress made but not sure what fabric to ask for? The dressmaker (cherry) suggested stretch chiffon? I want something that is not too thick or stiff but enough to hide the lumps and bumps and not cling…. The front will be like the third photo (but long obviously) and with 1m train….

odaa:  bostonbride2016:  I used Satin #60 & Lace #80. I love how soft the blush is, I don’t find it too pink at all.

watergirl569:  yea! i asked for 2 piece like the original. She did say she would have been able to make it in a 1 piece too.
