Marylynne1985:  You’ve made a fantastic choice, and knowing the shop has already made it is a bonus. The colours on the pic above are gorgous, I hope they can get it as close as possible. Looking forward to seeing its progress….And wow, best of luck on getting a third one made aswell!! 🙂

lorrisa:  Thank you!  I did mention in my revision I sent off to them to make the folds thicker so we shall see how it all turns out, fingers crossed.  Either way I really like the dress even if it came as is in the picture I still think it is beautiful and a little bit different which is very much me 🙂

Marylynne1985:  Did you order the swatch samples from The Shop? I did and I have the blush tones. That dress looks more of a #60 then a #62 The #60 is more of a nude pink shade while the # 62 is more of a baby pink shade. I dont know if you are wanting that shade or not. The actual samples are very different than the online colors.

Marylynne1985:  I would say a greyish silver. The small mesh-like details is definatly silver but it looks more greyish on top.

I just posted my review of Linda’s shop on thread about my custom designed dress and thought that posing it here might help too since its they do replica’s too so here it is:

Yes, I have gotten my dress Linda was great to work with. They are so nice and got back to me very fast with every question I asked and I’m sure that I got annoying so that says a lot about them as people. The dress itself was EXQUISITE! I mean mind blowingly beautiful. I can’t imagine how many beads and crystals are on it. Its at the alterations place now (it was a little big because I lost 2 dress sizes) and the lady who does the alaterations said that she rarely ever sees any dresses as intricate as this one and that the quality is as good as any of the designer dresses that she has seen. I asked for the embroidery work not to be as thick as the original because I didn’t want any added texture to the dress considering all the bead work.

If you would like to see the design my dress was based off of and the changes I made you can check out my dress thread here:

My custom designed dress – the best option if you can't find the perfect dress.

I know I have pictures of the full front and back on me and ones with more details. I will try to find those and update later.

lorrisa:  I did pretend and ask them they said 6-7 ft. im getting it made 5 ft. my height lol. but it will be a train  that attches and gets taken off. this is the dress I am getting made, but  with blue tulle and all ivory on top. it will be wayyyyy cheaper than the shop. its going to cost $360 for my dress with 5 ft train that i can put on and take off. $40 for my veil that will be 2 ft longer than my train.but i might want a short veil but i want do a lot of fancy photos with veils that i need a long veil with.

then $50 for my jacket. the photo with the jacket on is me and the jacket i want to get made but with the fabric of the dress.  the train i want  but with more tulle and fabric not like that train. the length of the train. and then the 3rd to last photo is a photo that i want to do at my wedding but need a long veil. so what length would look best? the last photos are of the dress i want to make.
