I ordered a two tier matching veil for the gown too.

It’s great that weddingtime is making so many of us try to get fit and healthy! Definitely share your mid production photos :):):):)

I was quite saddened by my boutique experience when they tried to figure what size to order in for me – I have the hips of a 6 and the bust of a 0 apparently bwahahahhaha! Hence replica route =)

leatherdinosaur:  I’m a 16 in the hips and a 12 in the bust… 😑 they said I could order a 16 and alter the top but it wouldn’t look the same.. Now I’m here.. Lol

ajunebrideinny:  If the rules are not followed (no linking shops, stating “i’m replicating designer x / style y”, no giving out prices, et cetera) then we run the risk of WB taking our board down.

I used Destiny from Shop 2.0 She was amazing and even sent me videos of the beading for me to approve. I will say my dress does not really look like a replica dress, it is more like a beautiful dress inspired by others. I really loved a specific “type” of dress and not just ONE dress. I was pretty much obsessed with a sweep train dress that had a lace overlay and a dark champagne satin underlay. Several different designers make dresses like that.
Destiny was AMAZING. She even sent me videos of the beading (which is beautiful). I even ended up ordering my flower girl dresses through her.
Anyhow, when the dresses came in I was not pleased, not going to lie I cried. But when my littles tried on the flower girl dresses they were PERFECT! So I tried to go back and look at my dress with a fresh set of eyes. That time I was able to see the overlay was amazing. It was very detailed and each flower was hand beaded. It really was exquisite. It was the underlay that I was not happy with. To be honest, I think they tried to make the dress “better” by adding organza, boning, and a built in bra. For me, that took away the simplicity that I loved so much from my inspiration dresses. So after crying a little more I emailed Destiny, not even sure if I would hear back. She responded quickly and was amazing as always. She offered to remake the underlay and only charge me shipping and promised to have it to my house within 2 weeks.
Ten days later (today) it arrived and it was exactly what I wanted. That doesn’t mean it’s exactly the same as the inspiration dress, but it has everything I loved about the inspiration dress. And only $300 (by the time I paid for fabric samples and the extra shipping cost) when the “inspiration” dress was $1400 (my wedding guest are not getting yeti tumblers as their favors with the money I saved.)
I am so excited. I would completely recommend Destiny and Shop 2.0, just remember you are probably going to get a dress inspired by the designer dress not an exact replica. You might want to also give yourself enough time just in case something goes wrong. If that does happen do not be scared to reach out and ask for them to help fix it. 🙂

My dress (Sorry for the crazy pictures and my silly little shadow… I had “helpers”)

And this was my inspiration dress.

I hope this review helps if anyone has any questions please let me know.

Thanks,
