Shop 2.0 is recommending 39 for the satin underneath. Any thoughts?

wedkam :  It looks a bit grayish but that could be due to lighting or how the pic was taken. Swatches can be difficult to figure out based on photos since they could be lighter or darker in person. If you trust that they know what they’re doing then go with the suggestion. Its probably the closest match they have available.

heavenlyflower :  I am going to trust the suggestion. She seems to really understand what I want at all other turns.

mfam08 :  Ah! That is stressful! When is your wedding? I’d still try to get them to finish it – it will be a nightmare to ship unfinished (depending on how far they are). Unless they are mostly done and you can get alterations & finishings done at the same time, it doesnt seem worth it to try and fight for the refund and still do it yourself. End of September is still a week away, so if they can finish it and then send it rush, theres still hope!

mfam08 :  Even if they can finish it, you might want to factor in the packing/shipping/delivery time. Do you have a backup dress?

Has anyone ordered or seen ombre/dip-dye dresses by these Shops? Wondering if they would be able to make it?

Wondering if you guys can help me out, this is not the normal white wedding dress but a Lehenga. Do you think one of the shops can do something similar or can you point me in the direction of someone that can?

scissorgirl :  Hi Bee. It’s in 5 weeks so I’m already cutting it close with shipping and the necessary alterations. I sent a message to Irina to see what my options are and I guess I’ll go from there. It’s just the one thing that I didn’t want to be stressed about at an already hectic time!

chachamaru :  I factored 2 weeks for shipping; so I’m cutting it pretty close. I will have to look for a back-up dress this weekend! 😞

Does any one know if shop 2.0 does well with heavier fabrics? Like a brocade or jacquard?

Hi bees! So it’s been a while since I posted and I’ve now gone and got married! Last time I posted I had received my dress from Shop A, was happy with it but it needed altering, so i was lucky enough to go to Milan to have it altered by my very good friend who is a professional seamstress. It needed the shape of the top completely changed and the fit altered on the skirt. Sooooo here are some photos of my wedding which was on 10th September and some of the original photos from Shop A before it got shipped.  The photos from the wedding are not the professional ones so please bear that in mind. I might post more when I have those ones as I’m not sure how much you can see the whole dress in this (it’s actually a crop top and a skirt). With Pthumbnail_21.2.3.4.5.6.

faerie1984 :  Their website says 10 weeks total, so mid pro maybe 5-6 weeks?

ninkmc :  Looks great!! Did you bustle the skirt at all, or just leave it like this?
