ristai01 :  it could be also silk habotai

Real Silk ist more matted because organza is made out of poly threads

ristai01 :  here’s a dress that I tried on in David’s bridal. The bottom ruffles are organza, it had a little shine to it in person, but you can’t really see it in the photo.

haileyelizabeth :  I like how you incorporated your black belt here as you did in your gown from shop 2.0 with the lacey back!! You look great in both:)

Looks like the shops we’re most familiar with produce the same glossy/shiny organza skirt for those gowns that require it (even DB from what you said, although I’ve never been to their shops). *SIGH*

I would be thrilled if someone could pm me the list of shops! I’m finding that I love so many different parts of dresses. I would love to be able to have one custom made. Also any chance any of the brides could share a price range? I just want to make sure this is something I can afford. 🙂 thank you!!

I completed my order end of September and received a notice I need to sign for it tomorrow. Is it reasonable that I am freaked out?  I didnt even know it was halfway…let alone finished! Has anyone else had this happen?

wedkam :  that seems awfully fast. Did you order fabric samples? Which shop did you go with (code name)? Did you order mid-production pics?

I used Shop 2.0 and the communication in ordering was fantastic. I received photos of lace designs and believed I had communicated that I wanted addtional photos of production. After the conifrmation that they had began, I did not hear anything else. I can’t fathom how they finished the dress and have had it shipped to me in just at 3 weeks. The only thing to do is hope it turned out well at this point..

wedkam :  Wow that is super fast! Did you not get mid production pictures? Did you get a custom design? If it’s one of their standard designs it’s probably super quick for them to make.

My fabric samples are set to arrive this week! Very excited!

scissorgirl :  I did not receive mid-production photos and it was a custom dress. In fact, I was just starting to think about reaching out to ask for them. BAM! Package to be delivered tomorrow. I am so nervous to see it.

wedkam :  i went with them too. I got my dress in a little over 3 weeks, i think, and then it was delivered in 3(?) Days. I didn’t get mid-pro photos, like Anty said I would, when I asked for them she said when the workers got to a good stopping spot she’d send the photos, she said that about three times then I got a finished photo, approved it, and it was sent out. It was very fast and I was worried about the quality. But it’s actually pretty great.

ristai01 :  lol thank yooou. At DB i told my consultant that i wouldn’t put on any dress that didn’t have black on it. So she put a black belt on every dress. She had about 5-6 different black belts. Lol
