ristai01 :  Its tulle, and absolutely no shine! Its very well made. The stitching is perfect and even. My Mother-In-Law swears I bought it from a salon and lied it her about it. 😐 i love it.

janeblack :  Its straight, my Mother-In-Law just doesn’t know how to lace it. Lol. And I was twisted at the waist. She also took the photos, which are a little terrible. 😂

So ladies who had beading on their gowns, do you know if the shop you chose hand beaded the tulle/mesh?? I’m wondering if I could design a beading pattern or even show them inspiration pics and ask if they could make that beaded tulle for my own personal dressmaking. Just a thought.

janeblack :  oh yea, just a quick try on. It was just the two of us and didn’t care if it was perfectly straight. 😂 the front is about 2 inches too long and the lace straps are too long(which is why they look crooked in the photos, they kept moving.) My Future Sister-In-Law measured the straps, so I blame her. Lol. But its all easy fixes.

Does The Shop have sales often and when?

I went on their page last week and they had a 10% off and 2-3 photo set free(can’t remember which) and now its gone.

haileyelizabeth :  LOL! My seamstress thought I’d paid thousands for my gown. Told her I had it custom made. She asked who would make it for such a price…I said China of course.

Oh and I wish I’d chosen tulle for my skirt but I couldn’t because of the layered look I wanted from the inspiration pics.

ristai01 :  i was worried about the tulle being cheap, scratchy, and shiny.. Anty said she wanted me to get samples to check it out for myself.. At first I was going to take her word for it, because I thought paying $26(?) For fabric scraps was too much.. But my fiancé highly advised me to get them. 😂 I’m glad I did, it saved me a lot of worrying. It was actually very much worth it. The shipping even got here in three days. Lol.
