sivette30 :  Omg! I can’t believe they made such a huge mistake! The dress looks beautiful otherwise. Have you taken it to a seamstress yet?

sivette30 :  I’m heartbroken for you. How much time do you have before the wedding? Did your dress need any other alterations?

ReeLuvsRo :  ReeLuvsRo :  My wedding date was changed (thank God) to march 31 next year, but im so sad, you have no idea, I paid extra for more beading work, I paid extra to  fix the lace appliques,  I asked to have don the train in a full piece of material  which they didnd do, and the bottom its so stiff doesnt drape at all!!,   I just dont know what to think im very sad. my seamtress in town just got back to me, and said that  cant fix the lenght without making a full body :(.  I kinda knew that i feel like crying guys,  the lining of my dress sucks so bad, intead of having the 2 layers  its attached to the satin like a suit.  making it more stiff ath the bottom.   I just wrote them and told them it can’t be fixed here :(. What do I do!!!  Do I offer them to pay more and fix everything that need to be fixed??  eventhough is their mistake?  or just basically demand to have it fix?

sivette30 :  Since you have enough time, I think you should push for them to completely remake the dress. They aren’t going to be able to lengthen it without making modifications to the dress that you did not want in the first place. I don’t think a partial refund is acceptable… The dress is unwearable. A full refund or a complete remake are the only reasonable solutions, imo.
