Memberahhh just got an email my dress shipped yesterday … How long does it take to arrive to the US ladies?? I leave Saturday and because of the holiday this Thursday I hope it gets here on time… On the average anyone know how long it takes?

Overall I am super happy with the dress, I am not crazy about the lace witht he circles or rounds, but I dont hate it and I was not sure if I could have requested a different pattern, anyways I wont lose my sleep over the lace. I bet they buy yards of the same material lol so I am not upset about it.

MemberHere are my comments and they are not crucial, except that I definitely want the illusion back fixed to be closer to the original and previous replica made. One of the lasts pictures shows a possible revision of the side curve.

MemberI do think they did a fantastic job!!!! I would change the back illusion part closer together , and I would drop the blank(whatever they are called) to make your butt show more , but as far as the V on the lower back, leave as is ,The curve on the side I would leave as is . I wouldn’t mess with it so much I think it Looks so good already if all those little things bug you as much then change them . You still need beading correct?

I meant to say the pleats instead of the folds, I was thinking if pulling them down would show more my rear end (butt) it seems that there is not enough fitted area on my butt. However this is not a big concern, overall I think they did a great job. see the pleats and what I was referring to (sorry about the confusion saying folding)

MemberWell! I think, they did a great job – here are some small things what I can recommend you 😉 this is only my suggestions, because I have already my dress.
1. I don’t like the cups. You will have the same problem as I have (ok, perhaps not, if you don’t have such small boobs as I have 😉 ) but look at the cups- They don’t sit well and they are not going to sit well on you, too!
I really don’t know how to fix this problem! I have the same problem – my boobs are even smaller in the dress because they squeezen by the dress so I’m flat like a board 😉
I tried to photoshop you, what I mean – don’t know if THE SHOP can fix this…
The next thing to lower the back.
It’s not much, it’s really a little bit to get this “V” – I know what you mean – I had the same problem and they’ve fixed it.
Oh – and look better on your neck of the dress- there they stitched the neck (I don’t know what the right word is for it, but this stich will be definitely visible!)
I would really recommend you to lift the start of the skirt at the front of the dress. The dress is not stretchy and it is really hard to walk in it and if you’re going to sit, then the dress forms BIG folds (The green area) – so it is only my recommendation, because I have this problem now
And last thing – REALLY IMPORTANT!!! HOW to get into the dress – the original dress has 2 hooks on the end of the strap at the side where the zipper is.
I tried to paint it, so perhaps you can explain it to “THE SHOP” – this is the next thing I have to get fixed and my seamsress is not sure if it will work, because she has to shorten the strap and this is tricky

2. I love the “V” but I am worried if the crack come out…ya know what I mean,,,,butt crack ha ha!
on the torso upper back do you mean the hem (I dont know either) so you recommend to remove the visible hem or the sewing on the hem? I cannot see it now because the manniquin is white, but you are absolutely right. What did you do to make it invisble?
3. How far down is the bodice fitteted to your hips? This concerns me because one of the main issues with any mermaid dress was that they didnt let me walk if they were too fitted to my legs and hips, I dont want to be uncomfortable.
4. WOW I never thought of this one 🙂 how the hell can I get in the dress if only one side is open? how do you get in it now ?
