larik… can you put words to my dress thoughts? How do I explain this??
Bees, I am looking for a reception dress for outdoor July wedding. I want it to be relaxed, have personality, vintage 20ish, and be comfortable to just enjoy the evening. None of the short dresses are any fun 🙁 they are all boring.
What do you think the below dress would look like if it was shortened? What if it ended at the tier above the knee tier? And another tier peeked from underneath a couple of inches so it’s flouncy and fun? So that the dress ends up short and vintagey feeling?

If I understood what you wrote..something close to this and excuse my skills ha ha!

Ha! That’s awesome!! Something like that! Yes!
Vintagey, and easy to move in! Now…does the concept work though??

you may want to check your invoice because I think they add two sets of photos for $60 if you do mid-pro pictures, assuming if you have changes, you’ll want to see what the final dress looks like. You probably paid for a second set already. They automatically added two sets to my order.

If one pays for two photo sets, is the final photo set included? I mean if you already paid $60 in your original invoice for 2 photo sets did you have to pay extra $30 for final photos? I will see mine

THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH FOR ALL THE HELP !!!! I TRULY APPRECIATE IT 🙂
ON A SIDE NOTE I WANT TO GIVE HEADS UP THAT WE ARE MOVING TO PART 3 VERY SOON BECAUSE WE HAVE REACHED 500 POSTS

The $60 is : $30 for the first set: mid- pro and $30 for the second set to show corrections made after mid- pro. it seems MOST, not all, make corrections after mid-pro. If you still had additional corrections and wanted a 3rd set of pictures, then you you would be charged another $30, etc.
Check your email to see what your photo charge was. By The Way, when did your dress go into production?

Just recieved my revision pictures and I think its coming along very nicely.
I asked them to fix the lower the neckline also the skirt of the dress didnt look fine it was way to flat and untidy.
Please let me know what you think.

your dress looks amazing. I dont normally comment on the mid production pics when people ask about revisions because I am USELESS at noticing the tiny details. So I really want to just say its beautiful. The contrast between the colour of the lace and the base satin looks soo vintage and beautiful. What colours did you choose? The only thing i can notice (like i say i am rubbish) is that there might be a very noticable seam at the join on the net where the arms join the neckline. (Does that even make sense??). I.e the arm hole seam.
Hope this helps a tiny bit 🙂

Hey Bees! can any of you help me, i got a mail saying my dress is shipped, but i am not able to track it. Did any of you face this issue?

what you are saying about the seam makes sense. I actually noticed it too. Will ask them to make it less noticible!
The colour is Silky satin #20 and off white lace.

Ahahahah, I love Contri’s picture 🙂
Another option could be to get [replica store name moderated] to replicate this Galia Lahav:
I don’t know if it’s what you’re after but it looks extremly 1920s and fun to me 🙂

P.S. everyone: tracked my package…it’s currently in Memphis and estimated delivery is tomorrow (friday). Cross your fingers!!!! I don’t want to wait until Monday. 🙁

I know it’s Thanksgiving for us US bees, but I had to post my mid production pics 🙂
I asked for a plain sash, shorter train, and blue as the base color! Premium fabrics. Here we go:
My mom is very traditional and thinks it’s too blue, but I’m in love! The only thing I can think of to change is the fuzzy lace at the top. I’d prefer the edges to be clean without any lace poking over the top of the neckline, but I’m not sure how to illustrate that. Any other issues? What do you think? 🙂
