that is called eyelash lace.  I only know because I asked them to take the shaggy lace off the edges of my dress…they sent me a close up and said “no eyelash lace”?  

Ha. So I didn’t like it on mine either!

Otherwise, it’s amazing. And I really dig the blue!  It’s lovely

When I was thinking about getting a lace dress, I told them I didn’t want eyelash lace either – it’s totally not just you 🙂

winterxrose:  I think it’s beautiful! The only thing I can see that is different is the way the lace gathers on the front of the dress. On the inspiration pic it looks like it’s gathered right in the middle, on the replica dress it gathers to the right and then goes back to the left. It doesn’t look bad at all, it’s just a difference I noticed. 🙂

I’m curious, when you guys order your dress, what options do most of you put for colors of lace and inner and outer fabrics, etc? Do you just click the “as pictured”? What’s your experience with this, is it usually comparable to the photos?? I just like the dress the way it is… Happy Thanksgiving!

winterxrose:  Divine!  The blue colour is so beautiful! it’s so different. Particularly stunning from the back.  I personally love the subtle lace edging around the top of the bodice. What colour flowers will you go with?
