tonnu:  I highly suggest that you go with the designer fabric for everything, tulle, organza and satin! the organza fabric that they use for the train is soft and gives a great look. I ordered the same dress from the shop. I have upclose video footage of the dress. If you’d like, I can PM you the link.

Sorry for the repeated comments! How do I delete them?

Plus I’ve been told that the dress is from a store that already closed 🙁

I’ve decided to not have any revisions and wait until I’ve seen it on to decide what if anything needs to be done. Can anyone advise how long it normally takes to get final photos if there’s no revision’s at the mid pro stage?

liksye.liksye:  Her store on Etsy isn’t active because some of the pics she had used were not her original dresses, but I ordered a dress from her and she was wonderful. The quality and communication was great. I think she’s had some issues with answering people because of the etsy store being closed and she is most likely not able to see all messages, but she is 100% ok to go with in my opinion. I ended up selling my dress because my wedding got pushed back and I decided to go for another style, but you can contact her on facebook and or email. She also has her pics on her facebook page. She’s a gem.

It’s finally my turn!! I am so excited!!!!!! Best Christmas surprise of the holiday!

these were my inspiration pics, it was supposed to be the top of this dress

And the the bottom of this dress

And here are are the pics of my dress

I am just over the moon! There are a couple of things I see that I’d like changed though. The seam between the solid lace part and the mesh part is a straight line in my dress but in the designer dress you can see that they actually cut around the lace pattern to ad texture to the edge of the seam. They also didn’t put the rosettes on the belt, which is fine because I think I am going to ask for a flat bow (like the kind uses on kate spade purses and whatnot) instead for the center of the belt. I also asked if I could get more close up pics of the bust because it’s hard to see what the bra cups look like. there is no strong seam there, which I know that The Shop struggles with this looks a lot, and I think I can see some definition that indicates a little bit of that “molded” cup look that these dresses have, but I just want to be sure. I’m thinking of asking for a little extra padding for the bust anyway, as my tatas are not at all large. I think adding some thicker cups might help make it more molded looking.

anyone else have thoughts? I am particularly excited about the back. The lace panel detail and the ruching on the butt are just, wow, WOW! I don’t want any extra volume in the bottom. I plan on getting it and trying it on and deciding about a mermaid peticoat or adding crinoline then.

Unfathomably:  Love it! I see what you mean about the back seam, but I wonder if you are having beading added there like the original does and I’ve seen on other similar dresses by THE SHOP.  If you are I think the straight line will be covered and you won’t won’t even notice it.

I don’t know whose photo this is but it shows the beading.

Unfathomably:  Beautiful!  This was by the new American seller on Etsy, right?  Gorgeous, gorgeous.  It’s stunning, really.

Santa was good to me this week and weekend (my mid-pro pics are in)!  So Unfathomably’s dress is focused on for a bit, I’ll post them tonight on here (I added them to Trello already, though). 🙂  I think they nailed it!
