Fifa1:  I think you can chalk that up to the different fabrics and the shininess of the belt.

Im comparing the colour to my dress which is bright white – Versus the veil they put on me in ivory.

Im not sure about the creases, what do other customers do? does it come out with steam or will it smooth out on the body? Or will you need alterations?

got final photos, but they didn’t remove some of the applique I requested on the back, so not final.

fscarlett:  I like it! Do you have a pic of your inspiration dress so I can compare? Sorry, I browsed the threads you’ve started and commented on but couldn’t see anything you already posted!

caligirl0011:  thankst. It was a mashup of two dresses.

first dress for style

Second dress for lace design.

They recreated the lace using this fabric.

Second set of mid-production pictures are in!! The bottom of the skirt is still not exactly how I wanted – it doesn’t seem to flare out correctly but maybe its due to the mannequin form? I would appreciate any input/comments from you all since you have a great eye! They still kept the sash on – which is something i requested to be fixed but oh well..

First here’s the inspiration dress.

Fifa1:  oooh your dress looks awesome!! No photos of the front?

the biggest thing going on here that I can tell is the boning is a bit too long. This happened with my dress too, I actually mentioned back in my post about visiting my alterations lady is that the boning in the back of the dress was curving in towards my back at the top, they are simply opening up the seam and trimming the top of the boning.

i can definitely see the curve indicating this at the top of your dress too, and I bet this is why the boning is so visible all the way down the dress too, it’s bowing out and pushing against the fabric on the outside. I circled this for you! As far as the creasing I wouldn’t be too worried, I think that the dress probably just hasn’t been steamed.
