AppleDainty:  how fun! The only thing I can see is that the applique could come down a little more on the skirt as it does on the inspiration.

Hi Bees,

I really need your help as I dont usually have the eyes for details. My mid production pics come. I am so excited. I think they deliver it well. The only thing I would want to fix is that to make the rosette less puffy in front (like the Hillary duff version) and the breasts not as pointy. What do you ladies think. By the way my inspiration comes from Hillary Duff’s wedding dress with a satin body.

tonnu:  I actually put this dress right next to HD’s and I wouldn’t mess with the volume in the rosettes, the skirt looks dead on. As far at the boobs being too pointy I think that’s just because of the mannequin boobs, which are shaped pointy and strange. once you are wearing it, the top will look totally different. I would just make sure the sew bra cups to the inside. I wouldn’t change a thing! This dress is beyond stunning!

oh! I just noticed that the sash at the top of the skirt is crooked. Thats the only thing I’d fix.

Ladies so I finally got the mid-pros of my ceremony gown and Im SO UPSET!! Its not what I wanted! They apparently got confused with another dress I had questioned them about way back when I was getting quotes.

Please tell me this will be an easy fix or do you think I can take it to a seamstress here to do?? Please help me feel better about this..

1. The skirt is all wrong..

2. The straps are too lacy..?

3. The neckline isnt supposed to have the laces sticking out. Should be more of a scalloped sorta shape I guess..

4. They dripping lace where the skirt and bodice meet isnt right..

I feel like crying so bad right now idk what to do 🙁 My wedding is in August and I dont want to cut it too close 🙁

First, Ill post my inspiration and then the mid-pros..

tonnu:  I honestly looked at this dresse like 3 times, and I think the skirt is amazing as is. Stunning, it’s the first time I see the HD version on here.

nygirla:  so far, the lace appliques are just pinned up. Asking them to make the straps less lacy, adjust the drippings and to fix the neckline lace shouldn’t be too hard…?

Now they just need to redo the skirt. I hope you have your final inspiration picture and emails to dig up and site then it was their mistake, and request a change in the original time frames.

nygirla:  everything you’ve commented on is fixable and they can do it. I would get your email info together to make sure you can prove it was their error.  I thought they supposedly only use what’s on the Order, not prior emails to make a dress? It will be interesting to hear their response.  It’s March, your wedding is five months away, you have time.

nygirla:

1. Straps show too much pointed lace, should have rounder edged SCALLOPED lace instead of pointy edges.

2. Lace edging on bust should also have scalloped lace, not pointy edges

3. Appliqués dripping down should be a SINGLE PIECE, not many small pieces that are not attached together

4. Skirt should NOT be tiers, should be a single layer with scalloped lace at the hem.

Hope this helps! I numbered the edits on the photo and typed the text with corresponding numbers so anyone can change the wording.
