Zelda1:  from what I can see, the dress is beautiful. However those cups are not molded. I’d agree with others to see if someone local can make them more defined

Hey guys! I’m new to the wedding bee world since I’m newly engaged, but I’ve been very interested in getting a replicated dress. I know about THE SHOP already, but I was wondering about other seamstresses and their work. If someone could PM me the seamstresses they recommend I would truly appreciate it!

So bees… let me tell you something 🙂

First to the “Molded cups” – THE CHINESE don’t understand what we are looking for! Sorry!

It looks like they have seamstresses who where learnd to sew dresses in ONE WAY! This was without molded cups! So after the “new dresses” came, they thought how to teach the seamstresses the “new cups” but didn’t know how…

EXPLANATION: For THIS MOLDED CUPS you NEEEEEEEDDDDDDDD molded cups as a basic! Or you need to sew molded cups out of a foam! There are extra different patterns how the cup can look like. There are patterns for round cups, pointed bras, bras with high cups, bras with low cups….

After you’ve got your molded cup basic you need to cover it with fabric and Lace! There is also an extra pattern for this and an extra technique how to make this.

This is how it will look like:

The Pattern of the DRESS MUST be done different! There the CUT for the BRA CUPS must be fitted EXTRA for the form of the CUP!

I choose for MY bra an already molded push up bra cup. For the form, that the bra is going to “stand out” from the dress you NEEEEEDDDDD!!!!!! BONES!!!!!

I ordered my new dress from the NEW SHOP. Really – the communication, the super service, the photos and the many promises made me feel very safe during this whole production process.

I payed EXTRA 28$ for the molded cups – I send my consultant also many many photos where I tried to explain her, what I wanted. She told me, that she understood what I want. The only thing she didn’t know was, that I was sewing parallel my own dress at home. The decision to sew the own dress came from the question “WHY THE HELL CAN’T SEAMSTRESSES SEW MOLDED CUPS” and “WHY CAN’t THEY SEW A DRESS OUT OF A STRETCH FABRIC”???? So first I started to sew and found many patterns where some Bras and bradresses where explained. This was just for fun! Really!

And after I found this NEW SUPER SHOP and had this gread communication, send them 28 original photos of the dress, send photos of the molded cups, I agreed to spend extra 28$ for MOLDED CUPS and ordered the dress

This is what I got:

NO MOLDED CUPS! BUT: the dress fits like a glove! Really! It is stunning! They choose really light fabric – not this heavy satin and not lycra but really light fabric. Super fitting! Great beading (ok, not this 100% replica from THE SHOP, but for this PRICE it is a dream) BUT NO MOLDED CUPS and they forgot to add sequin tulle to my skirt! I asked for sparkle tulle several times and my consultant promised me to add, but I got the skirt without sparkles :((((((

Now I’m a little bit disappointed about this and need to buy this tulle extra here in my country, because there is no more time left to order it from china… and now we are discussing about refunds, but ok…

Here is the dress I got from the NEW SHOP:

Larik:  Your dress looks beautiful, even without the moulded cups! Could you please send me the name of the “new shop” you used.

Also could anyone send me the names of the other shops. I know about “THE shop” but would like to know about any others. I am especially interested in the shop that made @Unfathomably’s dress. I haven’t been able to find who made her dress. Help please!

pinklilly649:  I’ve been trying to find the name of the other shops as well. When I saw Unfathomably’s dress, I was happy to know they have other places that do great work other than THE SHOP. I’ve been contemplating customizing a dress for a while but I knew I didn’t want to go with THE SHOP.
