Hi Bees!!

I’m itching to place my order – I cannot wait – except I still don’t have a specific shop yet. Uh-oh! 

I emailed with THE SHOP a week ago – but they are not responding due to backlog. (Maybe next week? IDK?)

I’ve been emailing with a different shop that was reccomended to me by Zelda1 and they *have* been fairly responsive, but not necesarily easy to work with. So far this shop is the only one to offer me a price quote. (Zelda1 very cleverly reccomended I wait a few weeks until her dress arrives and she posts pics – yes please! I wanna see pics!)

Just today I sent a message to Cherry at Shop 2.0 but it’s a friday so I probbaly won’t hear back until Monday. – Does anyone know the normal responce time for 2.0? 

If anyone else has any shop reccoemdnations please send them my way!! If anyone knows the USA based shop that Unfathomably used that would also be helfpul.

skylar84:  your sketching skills are impressive!

China is on holiday right now (Labor day) for 3 days until Monday, so I doubt you will get any response from anyone until next week.

That said- have you tried texting Cherry over what’s app? even if she may not reply immediately, it may be more readily available for her to get back to when the holiday is over.

Hmm the whole “reason” thing has me curious. I would love to see that email, and wonder if anyone else who read it agrees? I seriously find it hard to believe that they can come up with any good reason for attaching a neon yellow back to a dress when nude was asked for, or removing lace from someone’s dress AFTER revisions were approved and charging that person to put it back the way it was. these are things I have a hard time believing could just be explained away.

Zelda1:  Thank you for the tip! I just noticed that it’s their Labor day and I did big  “ugh!”.

I actually just got a responce from THE SHOP – which is great! Even if they’re out next week due to Chinese Labor Day (May 1 – May7) I’m glad I have this base estiamte to go off of! 

Because there’s been so many recent concerns about the SHOP I gotta say – this was late, yes, but it was also the most clear and organized estimate I received. It felt like I was being emailed by a business not an indivual making dresses out of a garage, and the estiamte lays out the entire dress purchase and construction process pretty clearly! Also, Liza told me that if I do place an order, then the communication is much faster – which matches what other Bees have said. So maybe it is just a matter of getting over the initial hump? 

I will compare all the costs to all shops I talk to, but the initial estimate from THE SHOP is really professional! I’ll let you all know when I hear back from shop 2.0
