Zelda1:  Oooh darling! That first photo is just not ok. I don’t know what to reccomend – I feel lie the images you’re sending are pretty clear. I feel like the drawn in triangle points and Xs are also clear. This might be something that just requires a lot of alterations after you recieve it?

But like you said, at least the front of the dress rocks! Small comfort, but it’s something.

blueorchids:  The USA shop sent me 15 different lace options but they only send pictures, not actual samples.

skylar84:  hehehe I know! At this point it’s honestly laughable. No point in getting pissed anymore- I would die prematurely. I am not spending any extra penny on this, unless it is for weight fluctiation purposes- so they will have to fix it somehow. How? I don’t know.

iDesigner:  You are 100% right to be asking for this. Regardless the dress is already stunning as is and I would love a PM from you regarding the price because I might have to get the same thing and wear it IDK-where.

Here are my mid-production shots from shop 2.0! Cherry has been very quick to respond and was able to get me a quote in a day, which really impressed me. I ordered the dress slightly more than 3 weeks ago. Cherry sent me the first picture last Friday and just sent the back view, which I had requested.

Another major plus point for shop 2.0 is that they were upfront in telling me that the type of pattern on my inspiration dress is not available on the market and the only way they can replicate it is to embroider it themselves – at no extra cost! This was different from the other shops I asked, which all said custom embroidery (as opposed to using existing lace patterns) will cost more.

So here it is, with inspiration pictures and my sketch below:

I’m overall pleased, especially after seeing the back view, because the embroidery work looks well-done. Only issue is probably that I had asked for the bodice tulle and embroidery to be in off-white, but they have done it in blush, like the satin layer underneath both the bodice and skirt. But I’m fine with that so not going to request any change. There’s just beading left now and Cherry said they’ve already started on it!

Oh and the colors I’ve selected are #2 for the silk chiffon overlay, #91 for the satin underlay and #75 for the satin sash.

Hi ladies – I was wondering if I could make a suggestion?  These threads are amazing right until you want to actually go back and look for a dress you remember someone had and its buried so deep in words!

Can I beg for those of you who physically have your dress to start a new thread simply titled 2.0 or THE SHOP and just post a pic of your dress – no words.

Thay way for all the rookies out there they can go “virtual” shop and see the quality??

bridemeup:  my dress has these feathers in it and I just got an whatsapp message this morning when I woke up saying that my dress is done the beading and they moved on to feathers! Yay! I’ve ordered mine through 2.0, but different person then Cherry.. Mine takes a bit longer then anyone else but I’m totally fine with that! Even tho I’m dying to see it! I ordered mine the last week of april and I would say it’s going to take another two weeks? (My whole dress has heavy beading plus different kinds of material)

Marylynne1985:  Thanks! They are not the best photos but I’ve been staring at them. Cherry will send me a picture of the beading tomorrow, I’ll post then!
