berchiena: I was wondering the exact same thing. Designer photos are completely different then what you see on a hanger in the stores or especially on a non-model body.
I’ve been debating meshing three dresses together but am afraid the dress will not suit my body once I receive it. I don’t want to play it safe and order ones like I’ve tried on since none of them have that wow factor I’ve been looking for. Unfortunately no bridal salons near me carry the style of dress I’ve been wanting to try on.
I know they say backless dresses are for ladies with a small chest, but even small chested girls need support to get the look of cleavage. Has anyone with a 32B or smaller cup size successfully pulled off a backless dress and didn’t feel like you were playing dress up like a 10 year old? Makes me nervous to order a style like that…
I need some confirmation that a backless style will work for me before I take the plunge. Anyone with pictures or comments to ease my mind?

I meant to ask on your original post do you know what the dress looks like underneath the jacket?

nygirla: oh no, what are your doubts? It really does look awesome. And their photo quality/lighting isn’t great so I bet it will even look better in person!

nygirla: I like the way it looks right now, but lowering the back to where the beading is its not a bad idea, I think it will look sexy and beatiful.
hideen zipper: it’s a common issue on these type of gowns, somehow I had the same issue with mine, it seems that the material in the back does not give much space to sew it on, therefore it looks like that, I think the zupper can get done locally and it’s not that expensive. You truly don’t know how it will look on you, i understand your point because innoticed the same on mine.
the skirt: I would ask more layers of tulle. Now that I remember the petticoat will be hard to find and very uncomfortable.
Seamstress: they really will be able to know what needs to be altered once you have the dress on you. They will pin and point all and take it from there. Yes, you had to make an appointment on time, I was on the same boat as you so I found one that worked any time of the day I meeded her, specially because we gave her tons of business. Comes to NJ of you do not have options, it’s kind of close (I know you are close)

Hey guys so Ive been looking through cherrys shop and it looks pretty good. It’s hard to tell because their pics are not the best. Can someone tell me why her prices are that much better? Are they comparable in quality? Is the structure and fabric nice? so confused.

MellaBella_xoxo: Wowzers!!! That is some stunning bead work! THE SHOP has a run for it’s money with shop 2.0!
nygirla: Aslo stunning! The bodice looks fantastic! Did you request that the beeding ont he rear stop short, or have they not yet finished beading it all the way down yet?
KathieL: That shade of purple is fantastic on you! I’m always so impressed with brides who choose colors, I’m not that brave. But yours turned out amazing. It’s absolutely 1 of a kind.

Stephy33: I don’t have a good answer for why Cherry’s estiamtes are lower than the SHOP but I can tel you that I loved emailing with Cherry, she was very sweet and very patient, but she didn’t seem to understand what I was asking for (in her defence I’m combining 4 different dresses and I think I confused her with too many pictures). But THE SHOP understood what I was saying (perhaps more experience with high strung brides?) so I ended up ordering with the SHOP.
As for the quality – so far the dress quality from 2.0 has looked fantastic. But I suppose a 2.0 bride can answer that one better than I can.
