Ours went something like:

Will you be able to attend our wedding?

__Yes! Wild bunnies couldn’t keep us away!

__ No! Sorry, we heard about the wild bunnies.

Guess what kind pets we have?

Then we had spaces for number attending and meal choices.

Just a suggestion. If you are going to include meal choice on the reply, you may want to have number of guest(s) beside each item instead of initials. They may each want something different.

We haven’t decided on our wording yet or if we are going for a buffet or seated.

We’re definitely going with something along the lines of

The favour of a response is requested by September 1, 2010

(2) Seats have been reserved in your honour

___ Accepts with pleasure

___ Declines with regret

I’m keeping a tight fist on our guest lists and (apparently, according to some) being something of a be-atch about it.  No dates for singles, no kids.  Don’t like it?  Tough.  We’re paying for this thing and I can’t afford to feed your sorta-kinda-on-again-off-again boyfriend.

We are doing:

_ of 2 Persons Accept with Pleasure

and changing it to 1, 3, 4 etc as needed.  My mom thinks this is confusing, what do you girls think?
