Thank you so much! I really loved the prongs, too. It is an elongated antique cushion. The side stones are half moons with bullets. The center stone is 2.5 carats, the side stones’ tcw is .75, for a total of 3.25. I believe the color is H and the clarity is VS2. It’s set it platinum, which it totally scuffed on the bottom after a couple of years of my Italian hand on the table banging.

Thanks! My “real” ring is a Tiffany Legacy reproduction with a cushion moissanite, it’ll show up…eventually. My SO is a flip-flopper on when we’re actually getting formally engaged.

- Wedding: January 2011 - Midland, TX
The first pic is the band, kept as is. The second pic is what my e-ring originally looked like. I kept the diamond and I changed out that cathedral setting for a tiffany style setting (I did not like the thick band, did not sit flush with my w-band, and I wanted “V” prongs) and then had them “kite” set it.

Sorry if these pictures are gigantic! This is my ring’s stock photo from blue nile:
This is the ring example from the “recently purchased” pictures that closest resembled my ring’s specs:
This is my ring, which I was given on Dec. 29th 2012 when he proposed 🙂 It’s beautiful and I can’t stop staring at my hand now. My iPhone does not do it justice…

*Just the engagement ring – I’m not wearing the wedding band in this photo.

Once I am married (if this thead is around, and if I remember), I’ll post the stock photo of the e ring + band and actual e-ring + band

Gorgeous! My ring’s an A.Jaffe too!

Are the square bands comfortable? Bet that made for an interesting ‘blessing of the rings’ ceremony,.. if you did one… I mean, it’s not technically a circle.. well.. maybe the middle o_O.. must stop overthinking these things….

haha yes, the square bands are actually MORE comfortable IMO than normal bands and it prevents the ring from spinning. my wedding band is actually round not euro shank (which is admittedly kind of odd but no one notices except me) but we didn’t do a ring blessing anyway 🙂
