@NicoleLyn1218:  YES it was! It’s a Scott Kay setting and a certified 1ct. But let me tell you, it was worth it to me. I still can look down at my ring and get teary eyed because I think it’s so beautiful.

@Patsy23:  Awwww well that’s what makes the cost worth it though….if you still get emotional. I want(ed) a Verragio Insignia 7050 that looks a lot like the one you have from the top and has details on the sides that I love too. The band alone is $3050 though so I told SO he didn’t have to get THAT one specifically because I know it’s a lot. It makes my heart race though! I love love it….hopefully I get that specific one or something close.

@NicoleLyn1218:  Yep.. That’s exactly how mine made me feel! I honestly tried on hundreds of rings. We had gone to 30 different places. We were looking for over 6 months. The second I tried this one on I busted out in tears and my Fiance looked at the lady and said “Wel… that was easy, We’ll take it!” The second they had called us to let us know it was ready to be picked up I never took it off!! He asked me to marry him in the car as we pulled into my driveway. lol cheesy I know, but still makes me smile.

@NicoleLyn1218:  Funny thing, the wedding band by VERRAGIO the ETERNA-4017 is what made me fall in love with the twist look. All the e-ring settings had too much detail for me though.

@Patsy23:  I love love it but I’m not POSITIVE the detail is all I want. I LOVE the top view and princess cut…and how the twist goes up the sides of the diamond. When we looked at other ones, that was my only stipulation – that the twisted shank had to go up the sides of the diamond. lol. That’s why I’m totally okay with something similar, because I wasn’t set on the detail on the side – it’s the twisted shank and the way it goes up the sides so the diamond isn’t sticking straight out by itself 🙂

@NicoleLyn1218:  took a quick pic of my side view. It hits the middle of the prong head on each side.

@Patsy23:  Ohhhh I love that too….and the peekaboo diamond! I just didn’t want the diamond sticking up without anything beside it. What kind of band(s) are you going to go with?

I got a sapphire and yellow gold instead of diamond and white gold. I haven’t decided if I’ll get the wedding band or not.
